As far as who more likely wins? Well, Cassie is the legacy of both Cage and Blade, so NRS is more likely to favor her over the legacy of just Jax and no one else. It ain't fair but that's politics.

After this game and MK9 I think any character can beat any character. Yes Cassie wins against Shinnok, but loses to Sub Zero, Ferra/Torr and Tanya. Same for Jacqui and the rest of the cast, even Liu Kang and Raiden (yes he is a god, but still uses a human body, so that's the excuse for why he loses). The only ones I find stronger are Shao Kahn, Onaga, Shinnok (with the smulet) and Blaze.

Seeing as how Cassie defeated and has her Cassie would absolutely, with no doubt, wipe the floor with Jacqui.
