I'm guessing they'll reveal seven or eight characters, and I would bet serious money Fujin is going to be one of them. If you look at the 7 characters they revealed for the previous game's reveal trailer, every character was a non-mkvsdc pick except Sub-Zero.

Hoping for Li Mei, but her inclusion is doubtful. Not horrible, though. I'd say she has a 20% chance of being in.

Would it be safe to say that the six characters that make up the six background themes for this site will be in the next game?

Has there ever been an E3 without character reveals?

Ah, E3... I thought we were getting something from NRS themselves.

June 2nd is prior to E3, so we may get something.

We may have to wait until E3 to really see some characters, and knowing Boon, that would be during the end of E3.

I don't care if all we get is just an MK10 logo. I just want an official announcement dammit.

If it's a trailer, than we certainly will know at least some of the characters. I think they will show Scorpion and Sub-Zero. And maybe Raiden.
If they feel like being playful, then they can tease us with glimpses of some new characters, but I am not sure if it's NRS style. They more about teasing via other sources, than trailers.

If anything, it'll probably be Scorpion be heading sub zero or some shit.

It'd be humorous if the trailer starts out ominous...Making everyone think it's MKX, and then it goes further in and then all the sudden, we see Batman's foot come down.

First thing I'd probably think would happen in the next trailer is some narration in the first part along with some ominous silhouettes fighting each other. Then at the end it cuts to Scorpion yelling Quan Chi's name and vowing his revenge while the sorcerer laughs. Then they both charge at each other with swords drawn and when they collide, the MKX logo will appear...I wouldn't be surprised if the trailer had one bit of homage to the Scorpion X Quan Chi fight in the Deadly Alliance trailers.

I'm hoping for MK10 but I'm expecting Injustice 2 or nothing (I'd be equally satisfied with either of the latter options). MKDC 2 would be a worst-case scenario for me.

It's going to be MK vs DC 2 just because no one wants it.

MKX and Injustice coming?

It all points to one of two things...either they are announcing both MK10 and Injustice 2 or just MK10. The one thing that made me almost 100% positive that it will be atleast MK10 is his "2017 true next gen MK" tweet. It was obviously him trying to scare us into thinking 2 things; 1. that its Injustice 2 thats being announced and 2. that we'll have to wait till 2017 to get a new MK. That comment would get all kinds of backlash and stir up all kinds of anger potentially so he wouldnt dare say it unless.......you can calm the anger by revealing that it was a lie (or joke rather). And the whole "Injustice Too" (tho it seems almost too obvious) points to it being a double reveal and maybe even some cross game features or something. But if u look at all of this as a whole.....its scary how much it alludes to MKvsDCU 2 But i doubt that. Lol

Maybe they are further updating Injustice mobile in addition to developing MKX. That would explain "Injustice too" and the Powergirl tweet. It would be a neat way to keep the Injustice franchise warm while NRS are in their MK cycle.
