I have a feeling that day 24 will be something Kiefer related.

it will either be MK10 or MK vs DC2, praying for MK10! NRS had a successful MK game, then a successful Injustice game, I can see Warner Bros thinking about how they could bring both audiences together to get a massive selling crossover game, dollar signs is what motivates Warner Bros so that's why I fear MK vs DC2 is a strong possibility, I wouldn't mind seeing that happen but I need a proper MK game first.

Would have been nice to actually have the completed game, and considering the bosses had full move lists and finishers, making them playable would have been quite easy.

Man, has it been that long? What have you been up to? Not to get off track, I love Boon trolling us like this everyday with countdown symbolism. I really eat this stuff up from the man himself.

I really doubt its going to be MKvsDC 2.

I mean WB arent that stupid. MKvsDC wasnt a flopp but it didnt sell as well as MK9 or injustice.

Plus all the leaks only mentioned MK. Keifer didnt mention DC. Nor the actress who played Kitana.

Really gotta read past the title, folks.

I don't see MKDC2 for one simple reason. The rating.

We already know that WB doesn't want to see anything "MK" happen to their beloved DC characters. Are you really going to do cross-game multiplayer and then limit all the MK'ers who would win from doing their finishing move?

While it clearly points to 24 days left (he's really ran out of ideas for riddles lol), I can't help but notice this is also his second time referencing the number 25.

Obviously, "Gilbert and 24 other people" would be 25, and he also joked about costumes for 25 characters in his last tweet.

I think there may be 25 characters in MK10.

Now THAT might be reaching. Like you said the first time, he didn't have a riddle for today, so he had to say "Gilbert and 24" just to get "24" across lol. I don't think he's subliminally highlighting "25" and definitely not confirming 25 characters, he hasn't even confirmed that MK10 exists.

Conclusion: he ran out of riddles.

It would be pretty shit if there were only 25 characters in MK10, seeing as there were 27 (28 for PS3) in MK9, and that's not including DLC characters.

I'm glad Boon is such a goof and a troll that we have legitimate reason to analyze these things like this. If it was anyone else, it wouldn't mean anything and we would look like buffoons.

If anything I see the launch roster being 30. We'll probably see most of the faces from MK9 with MK4 and upwards characters taking up the rest of the roster.

I could probably see a roster of around 36. Count out Sub Zero/Cyber Sub and make it one spot, and you have 9 new characters plus room for DLC characters.

25 characters on the starting roster, the rest unlockable. That's my guess. Around 30 characters seems good, too many and we get a watered down final product like MKA. And I figured something would be mentioned about Kiefer in today's countdown #24. Still hard to make anything of it.

Still am hoping for MK Shaolin monks HD or part 2. But MKX would be great as well.

We can only take Boon's teasers as serious half the time.
That being said MK10 Tremor! Yeah!!

23 got a few looks in, today. Personally, I was waiting for the Jordan reference: "They retired Michael Jordan's jersey right?."

That one was so forced. Everyone that knows who Michael Jordan is knows his jersey was retired.


About the whole countdown, I understand Boon is a troll, but there's definitely something worth the wait behind this. Don't know why anyone is skeptical. I seriously doubt he would think this out and play with us for a whole month about nothing. Especially these days when MK fans are in need of news. He is a troll but he is one with a purpose.
