Yeah KL doesn't match any of the boots.
Wasn't surprised it wasn't anyone new..
Ed already laments that fans are so quick to spoil the mystery.. that people will post cheats and codes online on day 1, or scan every magazine article.
It was world exclusive for an English speaking magazine afterall.
I personally enjoy the fact that there is still so much mystery that surrounds the roster and the backgrounds, etc.
I want to play MKX on the first day with some surprises.. not knowing every little detail.

I hope not. I don't want another MK9 situation.

Me either. It was almost impossible to resist looking into all those juicy leaks.
But it does look as if they've learned their lesson...even if some of us haven't lol.

This isn't pointed at any particular member here but just wanted to say my two cents about the reactions to the Kung Lao reveal;
Members here who are not happy with the reveal itself of the fact we didn't get a second, different reveal have every right to stomp about and be upset about what he or she perceives as a wasted opportunity.
So far the game, and the roster itself, looks good, maybe more than good. That could of course change, but for now, I'm pretty happy with the fighters we know of.
My main concern is the noticeable lack thus far of post MK Mythologies (a better term for it since Quan Chi was revealed) and in a sense females in general. Who makes the decisions about who gets revealed and in what order, I don't know, but I do however find the ordering odd. I think, by now, the NRS team learned (hopefully) from whatever feedback us as a fanbase provided them after MK9. I think these concerns about roster selections and sizes have more than likely been addressed by the team.
We saw progess with Injustice, a lot of crazy ideas go on behind the scenes in any business, I would think, and we know for a fact two certain characters (Fujin and Tanya) were both almost DLC or at least considered for DLC for MK9.
I am just guessing but some members here would probably be happier knowing the entire roster before purchasing the game. That's their opinion and their right as a fan and a customer. After all, who is anyone on this board to complain or bitch about how certain members want to enjoy their game? Yes, some of us like to be spoiled just like some of us don't. Who. Friggin'. Cares. It's a message board, it was designed to express your happiness or your concerns over this franchise, it's what its here for. After all, some of us have already put down the money, some of us will soon be forking out the $60, some of us will be forking out another $15-$25 depending on how much the season pass is and quite a few of us will even dish out probably almost $100 for a deluxe edition if and when it's announced. Frankly, nobody has the right to jump down anyones back here about how they like to enjoy a game and how they like to enjoy the reveals up until a games eventual release. Like I said, some like to know, some don't, we're allowed to want either or.
So bitch away if the process isn't working for you. I think that's only natural.
But if you are happy, what's there to bitch about? People who aren't digging the process? Grow up. It's called opinions. We are all invested in this game. We all have the deep knowledge and spend the extreme amounts of money, and invest far more time in experiencing and using the product, and guess what, it's this fanboy group that keeps them in business so every person here has the right to bitch or be happy.
That's all. Just tired of seeing people get jumped on for their opinions.

The reveal is boring as shit.
Kung Lao? oh yay, another character from the last game. Riveting!
Give us a Post MK3 character, or an new character.
However, the variations are very creative, I love Lao's new design and I can't wait for his trailer, or the podcast showing him off.

I see SO much of that and I agree 100%. If you're completely fine with everything and have no complaints, why bitch and go after someone who does? Too many opinion vigilantes around here. Enjoy the damn game and leave everyone else alone.

Only other post MK3 character that will get a big reveal will be Kenshi. Which would also be boring since he's highly expected already. Quan Chi and Kenshi once again representing the Post-MK3 lot. sigh.

Its sad that NRS seems so, almost ashamed, of their work post MK4. There is some great stuff there that NRS, in their current incarnation, could make amazing.

So.....wrong...I can't even.....
To people complaining about post-MK4 characters.. please remember also that this game Ed has said will be the next part of the story.. sort of MK4 - MK6.
So the reason we aren't getting many post that time is that in the storyline, they don't exist yet.
Kenshi is a bit like Nightwolf.. due to his popularity, he was brought forward from their original origins to be placed around the first two tournaments. Bit like Quan Chi and Reiko (who was mentioned in the MK9 tournament).
Some of the characters post MK4 - I'm looking at you Nitara, Cobra and Darrius - you could see were never going to survive the revamp - but with Kahn fallen and Raiden's story changed, I would be expecting characters like Fujin, Bo Rai Cho and Sareena / Tanya to appear in the story sooner rather than later.

I actually like a lot of your posts, but I don't get why you have a dislike for the MK4-MKD characters. Some of them are honestly really good characters.
I really hope they don't pass up the potential for MK4-MKD characters. Honestly the only other post MK3 character I'm expecting to see is Kenshi and maybe Tanya because boon loves her.

It's about the potential.
characters like Fujin, Shinnok, Sareena, and Havik would look great with NRS' new track record of personality and creative ideas incorporated into gameplay.
And those listed are all better than Sheeva.

Look, Sheeva is great because she fights in a sling shot bikini and has the biggest tits out of all the MK women. And for those two reasons alone, I want her back.

Based off the time I've been on this forum, I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who likes Sheeva
