Holy crap I like all three of his variations..

1.) He sounds like he's going to be a very powerful character if used correctly. (Even though that could be said about everyone)

2.) He's got a pony tail.

Tempest sounds a bit overpowered on paper. Make yourself impenetrable to melee and projectiles AND be able to move while doing it?! Er....hopefully it's like Rose's Soul Satellite and can only be effective in the area that the hat actually is when the opponent's offense connects. Buzz Saw and Hat Trick sound solid, though.

Not particularly excited for KL, but at last the drought has ended. Bring on the vid, NRS.

Flippin' cripes, all three of those seem awesome. Hat Trick sounds like Bridget from Guitly Gear with her yo-yo.

Well, i looked around all day and couldn't find the magazine, but it's not like we don't know now who the new reveal is. (It's not like i live in a small town anymore!)

These variations look insane, the hat-controlling plus movement sounds very complicated.

Still, i'm very happy KL 'survived' the broken neck, NRS/Shao Kahn pulled a complete dick move to him during story mode, and those combos were pure crap.

Chained fist (2,1,2,1,2 fast). It's impossible to move one thumb that fast, so I have to change the position of my hands to attempt this, mostly i just forget this combo's existence.
Iron broom (2,4,1+2) I hate all combos that include two button presses at the same time. Usually my thumb doesn't connect to one or both.
Uprooting step and Plum flower (2,4,throw,4 and 2,4,throw,2) the last hit rarely connects because the timing has to be exact.

Still left a bunch of good special moves but he felt really limited, so i'm seriously expecting decent upgraded gameplay for MKX

You know, the amount of butthurt that's been popping around on the forums with this character is hilarious, but also sad.

The reason why I said that is because I feel like they're either ignoring or don't remember the whole "Liu Kang Deadly Alliance Deception" crap.

I mean, Liu Kang gets HIS neck snapped in Deadly Alliance and then gets resurrected in Deception... Only he's still undead when that happened, not brought back to full life.

I suspect the main issue people are having is the fact that the Gamesmaster reveal was pitched as a "world exclusive," until it suddenly wasn't.

I'm sure there are some variations by some other characters that this particular Kung Lao variation will be weak against.

Also i think you can't use it (the spinattack) continuous because it's combined to the Stamina bar. It makes more sense.

The new stage is confirmed by the pic with scorpion that it is some sort of Special Forces base!!!! Read the sign, its clear as night....

I have theory we could see like at least 3 chars related to each faction that we will get to choose from....

Although I'm not part of the "crybaby" group, I can understand where some of them are coming from.

I'm sure most thought that at <4 months, the pace would have picked up, and there's nothing wrong with wanting to get a real in depth look at something BEFORE you buy it.

Especially when it's $60+ for a friggin plastic disc, or probably close to or over $100 for the Kollectors.

Kung Lao looks awesome. All three variatiins, sound great I love that you can leave your hat and recall whenever lol. I kinda hope no more reveals happen. Mainly because I want to be suprized especially for the nee characters. And because old characters returning is like oh them that's cool. I like all characters that have, returned so far

How is it a "leak" if it's published in an official Finnish game mag?

I wonder if Gamemasters are pissed? Seems like NRS screwed the pooch for them on their "world exclusive" by actually letting another magazine come out with it first.

I thought the pics ended up online before the magazine was officially on sale. Every site I've been to calls it a leak.

Besides, the exclusive was to the news. That doesn't mean that other magazines couldn't talk about Kung Lao until the game is out. I never see that. I think a lot of people put excessive emphasis on "Exclusive" just because we want to know more about the game and we already get the "preview" of Kung Lao before time.
