I can also make things look imbalanced without knowing the full roster and excluding the characters that don't fit my argument.

Guess killing off heroes didn't do much good for Quan Chi and the others. They are back and ready to be awesome.

14 vs 9, ya totally unbalanced and we still don't know more of the roster yet.

The developers never said a balance between mortals and other creatures needed to be made.

If people don't like it people will complain.

Don't jump on others for not liking Mortal Kombat: Special Forces but try to preemptively defend yourself for liking the roster.

Having more human characters just makes the non human ones stand out and be all the more unique. I felt the same way about the lack of ninja type characters but then I figured itll be fun to go back and stick to the classics like Sub, scorp, and Reptile.

I'm more concerned at the lack of evil characters, since Kotal and his crew are neutral if not aligned with the good guy family bunch car pool brigade. Of course we have yet to see the big bad and his/her potential troops.

Human characters don't bother me, as long as they play, look different and have a distinc role in the story, too much SF characters on the other hand...
