I guess he leaves the Lin Kuei before Subs takes over? Begging the question, why in hell doesn't he (Subby) have any Lin Kuei allies at all this time around? What is the point of his faction existing if he's the only named character in it? I don't even mean playable character, I mean character period.

There is no hate from me with Jacqui. Honestly, of the kids she was probably the one I was most interested in seeing. But Jacqueline, from what I have seen, does not deliver imo. Her look is extremely bland and uninspired. Moveset? Appear to be pretty basic.

At this point, if you are going to introduce new characters, make them really unique and stand-out. We need more strong females. Like or hate her, D'vorah is at least unique. MK lacks a lot from not investing in their females, give for a select few.

Take Ashrah for example. A character who I feel has TONS of potential, but they do nothing with her. Same with Sheeva. Hopefully Tanya will benefit in MKX.

Looks like Jacqui will have multiple projectile options based on variation.

One of her arms looks mounted with missiles while the other looks more hi tech and shoots blue energy blasts, 3rd one might the the ones in the first story trailer, possibly machine guns?

All right then. I misunderstood you. I think it's all about balancing at this point. When we're going to see her variations she will probably bring something new to the table beyond what people assume.

What's with the Jaqui hate? I think she looks great, has the best face of the females, and seems pretty fun to play as. I don't really have anything against her, it might of course be because she's female and we can always use more females in this franchise. I'm fine with Jaqui and can't wait to see more.

Jax...now he's the one I find to be a roster clogger. He seemed to have more impact dead and I just don't see what he truly brings. Great gameplay and looks, but I just don't understand why he's here. I know he's an extremely popular character, but I would think Baraka and others would have been more interesting choices then him.

Jax is still such a waste to me. At least he looks great though. Reptile still remains the most underwhelming character as gameplay goes.

Nice! Both look great. That Jax fatality looks sweet as hell. Looking forward to seeing it in full as well as both of their variation breakdowns.

I think it's more so of all the fears these people have of her, the Trailer doesn't deliver to change the mindset at all, but only increase it. And the fear is simply "Will she replace muh Sektor?".

I just HOPE they demo both her and Jax in tomorrow's Stream. If they do, this message board is going to get very interesting.

God, this whole MKX Family Feud situation has the potential to be ferociously corny. Mileena and her like two supporters are just gonna be gang banged by a sea of good guys and their rebellious teeny bopper kids. I so hope that shit doesn't run story mode into the ground. Jax looks great and Jacqui looks like Cassie and Takeda lol. Those Special Forces costumes are totally different and still manage to come across as same-y.

Kung Lao stays a revenant as well, apparently. Peeped revenant Kitana fighting Jax as well.

I think it's gonna be a lot more dark than that. We still have Shinnok who's obviously gonna come back, Liu Kang looking for revenge, the no-doubt beefy death toll that will inevitably happen, all the revenants, blood god possibility, Takeda's issues with Kenshi, Johnny / Sonya shitstorms...

Daytime drama-ish? Maybe. In-depth storytelling? Looks like it.

Have to say I'm not 100% sold on them, nor I'm I as excited as I was for other characters.

Jax is one of those classics that you like seeing. I like Jax. I would have wanted him to resemble more his MK3 or MKDA looks. For me, MK3 Jax is the best (I guess most of it was I loved his storyline of him implanting robotic arms to help him in the Invasion, but his face and look were better). I just don't really like this new incarnation of Jax. But MKX has plenty of skins so hopefully that will alter a little bit of his look. Hopefully his gameplay makes up for his looks. At least his Fatality is one of the best with what we saw. Also, not sure about his personality but I want to wait for Story Mode to fully judge.

Jacquie, eh, not sure how I feel about her. Not really feeling her. I'll wait for the Kombat Kast to dig deeper into her gameplay and presentation.

That's Jax's MK3 Projectile people. Jax had the arm missile launcher first. Human Sektor ripped off Jax. If Jacqui has the Teleport Uppercut,(Sektor's most iconic move) then feel free to blow the whistle.

& you guys can't possibly tell me what good of a moveset &/or variations Reiko or Havik can come up with.

It was just as much of a hassle for them to even come up with a good moveset for Shinnok without some jackass from a fan community crying out from the back row "SHANG RIPOFF!!!"

Well, Ermac really doesn't add anything to the storyline other than being a jobber for Shao Kahn/Kotal/ the villain in turn, so i wouldn't be surprised if they did kill him.
