Kotal is one of the few Outworlders (if not the only) that seems like a genuinely decent person. Also, a good general.

So Team Kotal.

I've always liked the idea of Mileena more than actually playing her.

I was awful with her in UKM3,

adequate in MKD-but much better with Tanya


and I found her clunky as hell in MK9

Kitana suits my style way better but I'd love to main Mileena so I'm hoping this game may be the one, she looks amazing and I love that shes the leader of a rebellion

Im all Team Kotal, but im digging just Mileena!

I'm impressed how Kotal has been developed so far. Nearly all of us automatically thought "bad guy" at first due to his last name.

Plus, Ermac and (perhaps) Erron Black appear to be down with him? I'm so friggin' here for that.

Because her goal is loud and clear....she wants to rule over everything.

Kotal says he fights for peace and restoring things, but what happens after he attains it? The fear of a revolution is that the new person put in charge is worse than the old. Then again they say it will show his rise and fall, so im sure he went against his word.

Im really looking forward to see exactly who are her supporters throughout the game.

You're really gonna make me choose? Uuuuuh. Team Sharktits, but just barely. I'm really taking a liking to Kotal. Dude's a total badass, but I just think Mileena is a lot more savage and cool. I still think she's gonna be the final boss.

I agree Killswitch. This is the most modest Mileena costume ever, and I love it!

She ALSO seems to have a bigger character now then just insane for the sake of the insane.

She has goals, she's ambitious, etc. In fact this may be my favorite Mileena to date.

Too hard to choose , Mileena is my favorite female of the series, but I have taken quite a liking to Kotal since we have gotten to know him a little bit in the comics lol

He always does the same arrogant act and assaults people deliberately without a reason and do not show respect to anyone unfortunately...

What's funny is that this is, ironically, the LEAST slutty costume Mileena has.

As okay as he seems so far, I still don't trust him.

Guess that makes me Team Sonya.

Kotal. He's already WAY more interesting than Mileena could ever hope to be.



That's not fair, though. It's her main selling point!

Her outfit isn't even slutty in this game.

Honestly, I'm completely sympathetic to Kotal's side, and think he's on the right end of this war, and would that this were a real life conflict I think it would be a no-brainer to support him...

But the fact that I've been a Mileena fan since MKII is preventing me from betraying her.

So while my good sense, heart and mind are totally not on her side, my rabid fan loyalty feels forced to remain on her side, lol...

PS. I like that Reptile (another classic favorite of mine) is on Kotal's side however. It's very in character for him, and a good thing, imo. Reptile's story has always been one of serving the bad guys in the hope that they'll help him bring back his people and his realm, so it totally makes sense that he'd side with the guy who might ACTUALLY help him achieve that goal for a change (instead of just promising it, but then screwing him over). I'm glad they didn't just shoe-horn him into being an evil minion on Mileena's team, because Mileena needed more evil Minions (Which is what they seem to be doing with Rain, but it makes more sense for him. He's always been a jerk.)

That was a nice little surprise. Plus, Reptile doesn't come off as evil the way someone like Rain does.

Team Black Dragon aka which ever side wins. Between the two, I would choose Mileena. I dig crazy chicks, and they are much more interesting. Kotal seems like a cool guy and all, but did you see Mileena's new look? She looks like a cornered animal thats about to rip someone's throat out.

I don't think he is either. For him, I'm pretty sure it's always been about survival. MK4 was the first game that his biography actually made him sound legitimately like an evil douche. Being responsible for genocides and all. But that can also be contributed to his own survival>theirs.

To continuously serve dictator-like assholes over the years just tells me that he has everlasting faith that one day his dream would actually come true. And it just might under Kotal's management. His MK2 ending (Non-canon, I know, but still worth the mention) states that he and his race would live out their existence in peace once restored. That ain't evil.

Oh we are counting this? I didn't mention mine...guess what it is :P

And whenever he has had a chance to restore his race, it usually blew up in his face (his UMK3 and MK4 endings).
