I'm guessing the teams go like this...

Mileena = Rain, Baraka, Goro, Kano, Reiko

Kotal = Erran, Dvorah, Ferra Torr, Reptile, Ermac

Based on those line ups, I like them pretty much 50/50, but I'll go with team Mileena because I'm a shameless Rain fanboy.

- Not, technically, the heir to the throne

It would seem that Kotal is the obvious choice but it's hard to ignore the fact that I've loved Mileena since I was a kid. So, Mileena is my choice based on pure bias and no real logic.


Shao Kahn took the throne as a traitor to Onaga, so Mileena is only an heir to a usurper's throne. Kotal just proved to be her superior, for the time being.

I like Kotal, but I've been waiting for Mileena to rule Outworld since they first teased it in her Armageddon bio. And now the bitch got Rain, too?!

Easy choice.

I think it's interesting that Kotal has the support that he has regardless of the fact that he hasn't appeared in previous MK games.

I do not think interesting at all considering that some of the ones that like Mileena said they like Kotal as well but go for Mileena for whatever reason.

His design is unique and his personality seems relatable instead of the generic trite Outworld personalities. He is a very complex character and pobably the best received new character in MKX.

Team Kotal all the way. Who wouldn't side with a man who's mission (seems to be) to restore everybody's lost and forgotten race? The decision to side with Mileena is most likely out of bias. Not saying it is, just saying most likely.

I'm with Team Kotal.

Kotal is just a complete breath of fresh air as far as Outworld Rulers are concerned. Plus he's got Minister of Spies REPTILE!

I fear Mileena will just resort to Shao Kahn's methods and allow Reiko to make all the larger decisions for her.

But i'm totally digging the throne struggles.

Tough one.

For NOW, I'll say Kotal. Love the concept of honor-bound warriors. And speaking of, as a native to Outworld and as a master of martial arts, I'm anxiously awaiting Bo' Rai Cho to show up. Outworld finally has a ruler I feel like he would stand by.

Still don't have a whole heap of a lot to go on about Mileena, at least pertaining to how she rules Outworld. Or how aware (keen) she is on Reiko's possible betrayal. If she's smart enough to have a plan B, and comes out on top after being betrayed, she'll earn major points with me and I just might change my vote.

well, unfortunately, because of MK9's needless retcon, Mileena fell out of favor with her endearing public because her opportunistic, deceptive, cold and calculating nature was replaced for bigger bewbs.

In any case, I can see the support for Kotal. He is, in fact, one of the more intriguing characters to enter the arena.

Mileena, purely because I've been a fan for longer. That might all change when I've played Kotal and the MKX story though, he looks pretty awesome!
