well out of the old 2D games i would say stryker is definately the worst... i agree he dont really fit into MK that well.

out of the more recent versions of MK (the 3D ones, mainly between MKDA - MKD) theres alot (not alot but fairly good ammount) of characters that i think suck.... but then again after the 2D MK games they started adding alot of new characters and since i like old school mk games the best... i tend to favor old characters.

I like Noob Saibot for his dark mysterious past and I like Classic Subby for be an AssKicker.

I would not mind seeing any of the newly introduced characters in Mortal Kombat Deception return. I feel they all lacked originality that the classic Mortal Kombat characters possesed when they made their debuts in Mortal Kombat.

I also would not mind if Li Mei would return or Sindel, they did not really leave a good impression on me, don't get me wrong both are great characters but for Mortal Kombat 7, after the Onaga situation is dealt with I could not see Li Mei return and I believe that Sindel has had her time, and should boost up another characters storyline with her assasination, perhaps she could fall by Mileena?

From the latest 2 MK games, deception and deadly alliance, i don't want hotaru, dairou, kobra, li mei, shujinko, onaga, sindel, tanya, bo rai cho, drahmin, moloch, frost, hsu hao, jax, johnny cage, mavado, nitara, quan chi, sonya, and mokap to return. Most of these have already been burned out or just didn't have much to them to me.

However, the rest have some potential left in them if they are put in the right direction. Personally I like Havik, and Kano could be a good character as well as Kabal. I am not too sure about Jade, Mileena or Kitana, they are starting to wear off on me as well but Kitana could come back. Instead of Nitara they could make a male vampire, which would look bigger and stronger and meaner than her. I want to see Khameleon return (as long as they dont make her look stupid like reptile from mkda) as well with her story connected to Reptile again.

I would rather see Kintaro back than Goro but Shao Kahn has a big chance of being a boss in the next game so i see him back. I don't want noob and smoke to be paired and i think they need to use Smoke more in the next game and possibly have him without his cybornetic suit and a bigger part in the story. Noob can also return if they make him cooler and don't talk about his Sub connection again ( i think they did that because they wanted to get classic sub out of the way of fan's minds ) Blaze could have a good story if they worked on him more. Cyrax has potential but he is starting to wear off on me so he needs a new direction. Also a female tarkatan like baraka would be kool.

The rest i wouldnt care to see would be stryker, motaro, sheeva, shinnok, jarek, the male chameleon, and rain. That one guy Belokk could start as a new (kinda) character.

And thats about it for now...

My idea for the return of Classic Subby and Shinnok.


First thing is that Shinnok has the secret to keep the ONE being the way it is.


The secret is tied to his amluet.




Other Characters Tie in: Noob Saibot and Classic Subby



Noob Saibot quick bio: Feeling something wrong about his past so he searches for people that are involved in his life. A Familar face comes out of the shadow of his past and told Noob Saibot that they need to get their revenge against Shinnok but there are deeper problems at Hand.


Ending: Realizing that he was only a clone of the Classic Sub Zero and not Sub Zero himself. Not only that they are others in the BrotherHood of the Shadow were clones of the Sub Zero and several of the Lin Kuei ninjas.
The person whom clones him and the brotherhood is none other than Shinnok himself. Now that Shinnok is Dead by both by Noob Saibot and Sub Zero after the Defeat of the One Being.



Classic Sub Zero: Coming out of hiding, he searching for his brother's killer and finds that it was Hotaru that killed his little brother. Sub Zero found that Noob Saibot was clone of him.
Sub Zero did some research in the Netherealm to find whom clone him. Ermac encounter older Sub Zero after the defeat of the Onaga and conviced him to join him to defeat the One being. Shinnok appear and offer to Help the "heroes". Older Sub Zero was infuriated in that the heroes allied with the one whom tried to conquer the universe.
Ermac Noob Saibot and Older Sub Zero reclantly allied themselves with the one being could help or destroy them.


Ending: Completes his little brother's dream of rebuilding the Lin Kuei. He allied himself with Raiden in the protection of the Earthrealm.

Those are alright bios for Noob and Older Sub-Zero though I will admit that they don't fully make sense since the Older Sub-Zero is officially dead as stated by Younger Sub-Zero's Konquest storyline in MKDA as well as the words of the MK team. Now, that's not to say that he couldn't come back. That would be cool to see if Noob Saibot were simply his clone. Btw, I think you mean "who", not "whom".

To ironsmoke: You're not making any sense at all. Some explanations would greatly help.

Subby 7th: those are rough drafts. Concerning Classic Subby return, it is tied in my storyline idea of Dark Raiden.


Classic Subby is a lin kuei spy employ by Rayden as one of the last line against the One being. So I figure Raiden could help Classic Subby to Fake his death and Let the younger Subby to be more of a front line Defender.

i think fujin should come back but have his hair down i htink they ignored that he is now protector of the earthrealm and kabal without the mask would be cool i think onaga should stay dead and any american characters like sonya jax cage and all of them just dont fit in to the mk universe just my opinion

i do like good variety like Americans, Asians and others.

Sheeva - least popular four-armed Shokan

Goro - unless his story evolves from being just the "former champion" of MK

I'd give Kai or Stryker another shot if they are not going to be just spectators.

Moloch or that sub boss in MKD - I personally hate sub-bosses, so I guess Motaro and Kintaro are both out

Kobra - annoying and too much Street Fighterish... think Ryu would survive in MK?

I think we should leawe Rain behind. There are simply not enough plotlines to make him something other than the "I want to redeem" warrior, considering he should fight on the good side...

...what brings up the point: there are very few actually evil characters with enough staying power in the saga. Save for Shao Kahn, Shang Tsung and Quan Chi and perhaps Onaga...there aer no real villains.

I do want to see True Form Onaga.

Shujinko- The only character in Mortal Kombat I truly hate and want to go away and never come back. Completely irredeemable in my eyes. He needs to go into the void of forgotten characters along with Meat, Mokap, and Chameleon.

Jax- Jax was good in MK2. Then he got boring, now he's just useless and irritating. Maybe if they drop his "gangsta" act and have him do something different and relevent like turn evil or something it'd be okay. Otherwise, just kill him off.

Kano- Unless they have him do something other than whore himself to the next boss. It's gotten old and you'd think by now Kahn or Quan Chi or someone would catch on that Kano is more trouble than he's worth and kill him.

Shang Tsung- Never into Tsung. Boring character IMO. And without his morphing ability he's just another standard-issue villain.

Hsu Hao- Just a boring character. More or less just Mavado's pit bull.

Nightwolf- He got a second chance in Deception and I still think he's very bland. It was worth a shot though.

So true, So true, So true. Im glad to see that im not the only that feels that way about the new characters since mk4. Only ones I would say I do care about returning (aside all the characters on trilogy) are Quan Chi, Onaga, Shujinko, Frost, and maybe BoRaiCho (Me and my brothers love him purely for comical amusement lol.) YA HEARD!!

Here's who I don't want back at all:

Kobra: the knock-off Ken Masters needs to go. I don't understand why he was even put in the game in the first place. If he had some deep dark secret to be a part of his story then ok, but for the love of all that is holy he sucked. He had Kano's fatality and he just didn't fit. Total Rip Off!

Stryker: Just for the simple fact that he was a waste of ink and imagination was enough to pray he doesn't come back. If he has a better stroyline than before then ok, but other than that, he just sucks. He had nothing of martial arts, all he had were guns and bombs. And he was ugly as sin when you saw him in the versus screen (Shudders).

Bo Rai Cho: Too freakin disgusting if you ask me. He burped and farted all over the place. That's just too much flatulence. (Although, he fart fatality was a bit funny)

Meat and Mokap: Nuff said!

No more four armed freaks PLEASE!!! With the exception of Goro...he ruled.

Also, no more Power Ranger ninjas!!! I would hate to see the number of ninjas in different colors in MK that outnumber the number of colors Crayola comes out with. Its just ridiculous, it needs to stop.

If I was in charge of MK, there would be a major cull of the characters.The people I wouldnt mind skipping the next game or games or not returnings are:

Baraka: I'm sick of his story being similar all the time. Ok, he is a nomad, but he is always moving from bad guy to bad guy attempting to have some meaning in the MK universe by serving them. It gets boring. he is just a henchman used by everyone and its played out

Bo'Rai Cho: I just didn't take to him. Although his styles are actually quite good, I don't like his look or his story.

Chameleon: I dont class him as real.

Frost: Sub Zero rip off. She is dead now and should stay that way. Also her look wasn't really that good, and in the Krypt in MK:DA her early concepts looked like Kitana with ice powers.

Goro: how many times has he died now exactly.......or supposedly died? he is boring.

Jarek: Kano rip off. His story was uninteresting, his look was dumb.

Jax: Never liked him. He is too overrated, and the arms just annoy me. the Special Forces thing has again played itself out.

Johnny Cage: He has outstayed his welcome. He should jsut make his film and retire. Permanently.

Kano: his story has run its course. He is always out for power.....yeah OK, we get that. Traitor, powerhungy fool. he should kill Sonya once and for all then turn the knives on himself and do us all a favour.

Kobra: In my opinion, one of the worst newcomers to MK:D. He looks awful, his moves are bad and he just rmeind me of Cage/Sonya some reason.

Liu Kang: He has always been the fron man of MK, and I really dislike him. Probably due to his turkey-howling which gets on your nerves. they need to let someone else take the limelight for a change, and earth needs new warriors. When he died in MK:DA I was like YEEEEEEEES, then when I heard he was back in MK:D I was like OMG, please NO. he looked so dumb undead.

Meat: A complete joke character and I dont even see him as real as he doesnt have a story/ending/purpose.

Mileena: Needs to get over the whole Kitana thing.

Mokap: A joke character again. he should remain a joke and remain out of MK.

Noob Saibot: I always hated this guy. he was always a hidden charcter who was a rip off of others. his only real appearance was MKT and he was lame IMO. Although he is now known to be the Original Sub Zero, he has some interest in his story, but he is yet another crazed fool out for power.

Rayden: The new 'Dark Rayden' was a bery bad move IMO. It completely ruined his character. Fujin is far superior IMO.

Scorpion: Always been my least favourite as his sttoryline is VERY boring. Always out for revenge, and then In MK:D they change him slightly, making him champion of elder Gods. Bad move IMO. Although formally said to be neutral, He ws generally evil before, why make him good now. And also with the return of Sub Zero in the form of Noob, i see yet ANOTHER revenge story. YAWN YAWN YAWN.

Shinnok: Well, I would give him one more chance, but he was the worst boss of MK. he was a Shang Tsung Rip off with his morphs....yet didnt morph lol. his sotry sucked. He needs a major revamp if he is to return.

Sonya: One of the worst female characters. I used to liek Sonya, but this whole Black Dragon thin has played itself out and the Kano-Sonya rivalry got boring. She never integrated with many other characters, and the Special Forces thing was tired and failed to be a good story. Her look in MK:DA was so bad, she looked like a man, and I wasnt a fan of her story there. vastly overrated.

Tanya: i believe ~Crow~ said all of what Im about to say. She was a bad late addition to MK4 with a poor story. her moves were wuite good, but her story sucked. Then they bring her back in MKD, with basical the exact same sotry, only she was doing Onaga's dirty work instead of Shinnoks. Out for power, like Kano and many others. This storyline has been done to death.......hopefull done to Tanya's death.

Tanya- I've always hated her

Mokpak(is that the right spelling?)- He's boring

Meat- Also boring

Lui Kang- HE DIED! He needs to stay dead

Kabal- He killed Mavado!(I hate Kabal for that)
