"Hornbuckle" was confirmed to be one of the monks who guarded Onaga's egg. Blaze had escaped from them and "Hornbuckle" was to retrieve him, hence why they were in the Pit 2 stage background.

The only ties "Hornbuckle" has with Liu Kang is that he used his sprite, but green instead of red. That's all. His name isn't even truly "Hornbuckle", that's just a name fans have given him, just like they called the fiery dude "Torch" who was later confirmed to be named Blaze.

Since the fourth foot bares tabi, I'll put my guess in for Frost or the mysterious woman in Jades ending....or a new female.

Foot 6: I hope it's Chameleon. I can somewhat see the resemblance of the boot. It's gotta be him.

Boon keeps blurting out Superman "3 & 4" on his tweets. Any thoughts?...it better not stand for Liu and Kitana though XD

In my spare time I make astronomy pictures of the planets and moon. To get the most detail I sometimes have to tweek a picture. I have doen the same with the boot picture Ed Boon send us. A scull has show up in the third boot.

With the pics being lightened up a bit, it's still really hard to guess.

1 is still Quan Chi
2 I doubt the black thing is a cape, could be a hole in the ground. So now this one is unknown for me now.
3 More detail, considering the item around the shin. Looks like a watch lol (too hard to tell). New character.
4 Looks like a sandal/flip-flop attached to an anklet thing. Still looks like two toes (others would differ). Sheeva or new character.
5 Steel toe/heel and brim looking. Jax, Tremor or new character.
6 The thing beside the boot seems more like a weapon with a tooth at the tip. Shinnok, Reptile, Johnny Cage (Seido) or new character.

Just can't wait until this is revealed. It's really mind boggling.

We are almost finisht with the colours. The picture with the second boot/staff is without a doubt a staff. With colours it's much better to see. And ther is a logo above the boot. The logo is almost indentical or looking very simullair to the one Chameleon is using in MK armageddon.

It has to be Fujin or shinnok. Both of the is using a staff.
Tomorrow I am back at my home, then I will try to upload the picture.

Good news. Once the colour is in, we can find out which number 4 is...two toes or tabi. Ready for this Jaded-Raven?
