On how Boon Wrote "MIxture", I'm speculating that the capitalized "MI" could mean Mission Impossible, Mileena or Mortal Instinct (lol).

Well, if they decided to go through with this, that would be up to them to explain, the idea just came to me because Hornbuckle is just a pallet swap for Liu Kang after all.

NRS bought Skarlet to life and they want to introduce a lot of new characters, so why not Hornbuckle? He's never been playable in any MK game, so he would technically be new.

As far as his story, hmmmm....I got nothing right now, I'm not much of a story writer. Help anybody?

All of the boots belong to Tanya, she has a big shoe kollection.

The second one in from the left I feel is Quan.You don't wear boots like that unless you plan to sky stomp someone's goofy ass!I will be HEARTBROKEN if it turns out not to be him.All a part of MKX hype I guess.I also think he will look like MK legacy Chi rocking a black trenchcoat.

The last one is Noob Saibot. Quan chi probably resurrected his ugly ass again. He still has Scorpion as her personal bitch at his command.

If any of the boot pics is Noob, then it'll be boot 2, if not Quan Chi.

Boon said the boots are a mixture of old and new. With that in mind, my main and secondary guesses:

2) primary: Johnny Cage
secondary: Kabal

3) primary: new character (Shaolin monk and/or descendant/relative)
secondary: Fujin

4) primary: Mileena
secondary: Tanya

5) primary: new character (military background and/or descendant/relative)
secondary: Jax

6) primary: Shinnok
secondary: new character (ninja and/or Brotherhood of Shadow member)

God I hope not. But the math does fit nicely doesn't it?

I hope leg four is not Mileena. I just can't see her suddnely turning into Japanese style kunoichi.
I'd prefer if she kept her arabian-inspired outfit, at least to some capacity.
