For me "EX" rolls off the tongue better.

From how they said it, I doubt it means costumes, or even past generations of the character. It could be their way of having some sort of fighting stance select before the match starts or something. Instead of switching it mid battle like MKDA/MKD. It could be like selecting a costume, you pick the play style of that character.

To me the "multiple versions" of a character sounds like the "ism" system from SF Alpha 3 or the system that was in place for CVS2 which was similar. Perhaps it's maybe even as simple as SF3 where you selected a super art and that's it. That's really the most important question to be asked though...what does it mean?

... another year where Ed Boon will troll the people till kingdom come, where people will speculate over the smallest things (that obvious mean nothing), where fans will go ballistic and call the guys at NRS names because the color of a character's shirt is slightly off, where months will pass without any new information, where people will find and leak the entire roster and ending of the game, etc. etc.

I'm grabbing the popcorn.

Anyway, I really wonder if they're bold enough to stick to their guns and roll with the current story. While there's still plenty of characters to choose from, having almost all the favs dead might be a hard pill to swallow for some. Unless, of course, they go with the 'everyone was dead, but through some means they were all revived' routine.

I'm also glad to see this game have an Xbox 360 release, because I really don't want to buy a next-gan system solely for this game.

So while I'm glad to see the franchise going forth, I'm not really as hyped as I was with the announcement of MK9.

So Scorpion wont use swords this time?

Definitely can't wait for this game to come out in 2015. I like Sub-Zero and Scorpion updated look. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the roster.

I'm also happy I won't have to buy a PS4 for this. I think it was a smart move on their part making sure EVERYONE will be able to get the game. The PS3 & 360 still has a lot of life left in them and many people aren't ready to move on, so this prevents them from losing out and MKX from losing out on their money lol

I also would like to see if Neathrealm has the balls to keep those characters dead. I'm hoping, but I wouldn't be surprised if they randomly bring back 95% of the MK9 dead characters,
