I actually fell in love with Kitana because of Talisa Soto in the 1st movie [that was my 1st time seeing Kitana in any media]. That very first scene that shows her sitting in a chair under the umbrella, in a dark dress, giving that look to Liu Kang. Oh my goooooood!!! Immediately stole my heart! The best thing of all, she didn't even say a word. SO BADASS!

I watched it all, this was one of my favorites, actually and it's interesting to know that Hito's so energetic and outwardly optimistic despite his past circumstances.

I download the mp3 version for these and listen to them in my car. This was by far my least favorite but...I really dont like listening to a lot of the VSM guys. I respect what they do in providing regular streams but the majority of the time, they sound like douchebags. Hitoshura and Arturo being the biggest offenders.

Nah man I usually listen to the whole show regardless, even if I don't like the guest (which is rare). The conversation between Slips, yourself, and K7 is solid enough to keep me engaged.

Oh and I actually enjoy Tom...especially when it's you and him discussing things.

Hmmm... I confess, I struggled trying to keep my concentration while listening to episode 15. There were some really long monologues by JamessMK lol. It's okay though, the last hour, hour and a half were very entertaining with all the desert island stories lol.

I'd also like to note that I feel like Sub-Zero status is exaggerated, I don't think a spike in tournament players using Sub-Zero is a good indication of how bad he is, the unescapable ice thing needed to go and I don't really know what other nerfs he got, but I think Sub's more mid than as trash which is being presented. Sub-Zero has been used at a high level by more than just Tom, I understand he's very knowledgable about the character and he's entitled to his opinion and I'm not saying it's wrong, but I just don't agree.

I just hope we get lots of matches on stream. KombatNetwork did a brilliant job streaming WB6 pool play and every Top16 up to Top8 match (I went to bed at 6.30am lol). Hopefully FR does something like that as well.

The Tom brady episode was awesome. I love listening to Tom talk, it entertains me for hours on end. Good shit guys, keep it up.

I definitely have trouble believing Sub is bottom three. I think he could use some buffs, and the slide armor was kinda... well, worthless. Not sure why they thought that was a good idea. "You better not throw that projectile, or I'm gonna knock off a little bit of your life... and... put you at a safe distance.,. and possibly not have break... oh, fuck this move."

Nonetheless, the ice clone shuts down a lot of shit, and Sub has easy punish combos that give him decent corner opportunities. He has, from what I've observed, the best hit confirm chain in the game (though clearly not the best pressure to go with it, but you can't have it all).

I'll say it again: make his Ex-Slide neutral on block, and we'll have a top 15 character.
EDIT: I also have a bunch to say on the Smoke/Kitana match-up, but not the time to write it right now.

I don't know about 2,2 being the best hit confirmable string in the game when there's silliness like Johnny Cage's f+3.

I was thinking more the 2,1,2 into either freeze or escape clone. The amount of time you have to confirm into choice special is crazy. Perhaps "easiest" is a better word than "best," though. I also kinda wish Sub had more options after confirming the freeze than just a thirty-something percent combo.
