I destroy ppl online with Sektor. I have also fought some other people that are pretty good with him as well. Mileena isnt really used like you've mentioned but neither are Quan Chi or Shang Tsung's bitch asses.

I looove the fact that ppl don't use Mileena online much coz I main her. Tbh I've grown used to Scorpion/Raiden/Kung Lao/Ermac/Smoke tactics and it's a sure win for me when my opponent picks them....but it took some time coz I use mostly Mileena and her combos were A LOT harder to pull off online! After some practise though, I can now do 35% combos with her easily! She can really be a beast in the hands of experienced players trust me. The best part is that ppl are so damn sure they will win when I pick her.....it makes the win taste even better :P

I never use mileena. I use sektor some.

I use Sektor when I play someone with a bad record cause I want to use him, but need the practice doing combos online. I would get blown up by even average players with my Sektor right now. I sometimes bust him out against Noob players because I like the matchup.


I will say 2 of my worst 3 losses online were against Sektor players. Just nasty play from them. The characters got a ton of potential with his keep away and super strong normals and combos.

well sektor is my first main char and mileena my 2nd. I have mastered both and I am 460:160 online. So I am pretty satisfied with both.

I wish less people would use Smoke. I'm tired of people rage quitting AT THE CHARACTER SELECT SCREEN.

Anyway, Mileena and Sektor are both really good characters. Mileena is especially good if you can exploit her teleport/Sai cancel. Mileena players: learn that shit. Also, learn how to distance your roll so it wiffs. It will give you decent rushdown options.

As for Sektor, I really don't understand why people don't use him. He's a very intuitive character with easy 40% combos and a very fast teleport. Even though I loved Cyrax before the game came out, I've come to accept that Sektor fits my playstyle more. Same thing with Kabal: he was suppose to be my counterpick, but my mind is just not built for that kind of play. I'm back to counter-picking with Sub-Zero.

I've discovered that Mileena is my best character, actually. I don't even know any massive combos with her, I just stay aggressive and punish spammers with teleports and rolls. As someone else stated on the first page, she's a fantastic anti-cheap character.

Teleport, then while still in the air do the sai throw command. The two attacks will hit almost simultaneously if done right. Very similar to how Kitana can use a launcher, and then cancel a jump kick into her fan throw for more damage.

I play Sektor online. He's currently my main, which is still funny when I think about it because I have never liked Sektor in any incarnation, until this game. He went from being scoffed at to being my favorite character.

Sektor- I use sometimes

I've actually found out about this by watching the tourney footage. It's amazing how often people fall for it, especially if you keep mixing her normal teleport kick with the enhanced one.


THIS! My absolute favorite tool in Mileena's game. I do this in 75% of cases whenever I finish one of her combos with [3, 4, b, f+1] string. This string knocks the opponent down just outside of her roll which I then use to quickly get right next to them and then usually go for low pokes [d+3, d+4], but sometimes mix it up with the throw and her overhead [u+4]. LOVE THIS STUFF!!! However, you do need to watch out for some wake up attacks when you're doing this just after you knocked the opponent down.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about! and mileena is my main lol! first of all is there a video on youtube for her teleport/sai thingy? coz i know what u mean but in my case this doesnt work. her sai goes right up her opponent's head after the teleport...i wanna see how ppl fall for that :P

Mileena is one of my six secondaries (I realize the paradox of that statement).

I don't use Sektor very well, but I have a friend who not only mains him but is insane with him.

I play as sektor sometimes, just not Mileena.

I've ran into a lot of sektors online more so then mileena. I've never used Sektor until mk9 and I like his combos in this game, and in my opinion he seems to do a lot of damage. Unfortunately I've never played a skilled sektor player online all they want to do is spam the missile so i just block dash to bait their teleport punch and then their comboed, I can even grab a sektor out of his teleport punch with my telekinetic push. Also another thing about sektor I never really used him ever in any MK until I saw some of Cassleman's combo vids which gave me ideas and I really like the way Sektor plays in MK9 and I do sometimes use him as a secondary

I see a lot of Mileenas and a Sektor now and again. The real online ghosts are Stryker and Shang Tsung.

I main mileena. She in my oppinion is the most fun, and most tricky to play against on this game.
I also main Sektor. dont really understand why people dont use him, he's an absolute powerhouse.
And don't get me started on Quan Chi.

Which is ironic, as Mileena is incredibly cheap herself. Sai toss spam / telekick when trying to jump over it / lag-beating roll. Throw in that split kick when you're trying to block the roll, and it's no fun at all.

I think, with Mileena being as punishable as she is, it's not so much cheap as it is necessary to balance her out. Notice that all of those things in order to be effective rely on the opponent being lured into doing something she can abuse... She can't just roll into you at random.

If I try to evade an attack, I get hit by another attack. If I manage to block, I don't have to time to punish and get jabbed or thrown. Mileena, Ermac...both cheap as fuck and too quick.
