MKX Kombat Pack Reveals Jason, Predator, Tremor & Tanya

Just when you thought The Predator was coming into view - the full Mortal Kombat X: Kombat Pack D:C stands revealed! Check out the new trailer with all four downloadable bonus characters and more details:

Each Kombat Pack character download will signify a new playable fighter and three additional costume skins for kombatants on the main roster.

The Ultimate Horror Pack [Pack: May 5th, Sale: May 12th]
Playable character: Jason Voorhees
Horror skins: Vampiress Mileena, Kraken Reptile & Pharoah Ermac.

The Klassic Pack #1
Playable character: Tanya
Klassic skins: Kano, Sonya Blade & Liu Kang

The Predator/Prey Pack
Playable character: Predator
Predator skins: Commando Johnny, Infrared Scorpion & Carl Weathers as Jax

The Klassic Pack #2
Playable character: Tremor
Klassic skins: Quan Chi, Jax & Kung Lao

Additional skins for playable characters finally lock in klassic kombatants Jax and Liu Kang for a Mortal Kombat X return. The inclusion of a Carl Weathers Jax skin caps off unlikely rumors that the Predator and Rocky star would be included as a downloadable extra opposite the alien hunter.

All downloadable characters in the pack represent cult fan favourites who've garnered support in the build to MKX. Jason & Predator have frequently factored into guest character requests, while Tremor has made the journey from obscure spin-off boss to download fighter through the intense support of fans. So evident is the fan influence that Tremor even boasts a fan design by MKOmmunity user fear-sas.

Glad we got that out of the way, Predator with the sounds and classic look. The word classic does not apply to Tanya and Tremor though. I actually warmed up to the latter, but they gave him a bland look. Tanya looks awful, just a black female.

At least I don't have to bother waiting months for a true classic character. I can totally focus on the game and let Predator sneak up on me haha. NRS did a smart thing, 5000 will now buy the pack or SE hahaha

Can we do one for Havik or Baraka :p

I never really understood the whole, "Tanya and Jade aren't black, they're edenian!"

Like, yes they're edenian, but they're also black, middle eastern, aka anything you think that they may be.

Using this cartoon character, for example, Garnet is a crystal gem, aka shes an alien space rock thing. But, she is a black alien space rock thing. She shouldn't just be limited to just being a space rock. She's obviously coded to be black, so let's call it as it is, lol. Just like Tanya and Jade. Are they edenian? Yes. Are they black? Possibly, but they can also be of a different ethnicity, too.

I may get Tanya if she is sold separately. I do not give rat ass about guest characters. I really dont care about Tremor. I am glad they made the reveal now. That just saved me about $25.

Agreed. It's pretty obvious Tremor has been planned for a while now. Fans had been yacking about him since MK9. Very possible that NRS had both Tanya and Tremor in mind for the next game since.

This is the first time in a very long time Im actually let down and gasp, dare I say actually not as hyped with the two guests taking up "spots". Ive been happy and grateful everything MK since, forever. I liked MKvsDC, liked Kratos amd Freddie. I liked Slarlet. None upset me. Just a little underwhelmed with only one inclusion of a classic character, two guests, and Tremor being guest-like. I know I'll enjoy the gameplay regardless, even doing my best to get good with all the characters, regardless. Just really hope to get at least two more DLC in the vein of Injustice if not four.

Predator: looks badass! I'm excited to see more.

Jason: Pretty cool! I'm happy he was selected.

Tanya: I am VERY happy she's in! I've been waiting for her reveal. But oh god! She looks horrible. I hope her final version looks much much much better. I'm very disappointed with her look but again they are still working on these DLC characters.

Tremor: Are you serious? How is he KLASSIC? Happy for his fans but he has NOTHING klassic about him.

Overall pretty good DLC.

I'm looking forward to more DLC seasons.

I am now thoroughly pissed that Liuser Kang made the cut. He brings absolutely NOTHING of value to the story in this franchise. A bland generic Bruce Lee ripoff with no personality who went insane and had to be put down. He should have been left that way. The thing I loved most about MK:DA is that he wasn't in it!

She'll be sold separately. That 2nd pack is gonna be so dope, love Tanya and the classic skins for Kano, Sonya and Liu.

I also don't care for Tremor or guests, but i pre ordered the premium edition anyway.

It only made sense to inklude Tanya in MKX. I am glad the MK team decided not to snub Tanya, for the second time after MK9. lol

Yeah but with "klassic" you'd think at least of an early MK character, not one who's not even playable in the considered the worst MK ever (correct me if I'm wrong actually never played it).

That said, I like that Tanya is in, I didn't expect her. Tremor should be nice too. Can't wait to see some gameplay and intros (more and more introsss)

I still can't believe Tremor of all people actually made it in. Some obscure bit-part character from one of the worst games Midway ever released makes it in over any number of characters that were actually in a real fighting-based MK game? I'm just flabbergasted at this. I'll give them credit for doing something shocking and unexpected but...really?

Don't know why some people don't consider Tanya a classic character. MK4 came out 2 years after MK3 lol. Anything before the year 1999 should definitely be considered 'retro' now.

Honestly I'm so glad the Kombat Pack didn't include any one from MK9. Let some other characters have a chance.
