The MK: Armageddon official site has been updated! However, this update is largely a content-free update, as all it shows is the same MK dragon used when promoting Mortal Kombat 3. Although not much has been put on the site at this time, keep checking up on it for more updates and information on Midway's upcoming fighting game. Midway Games has come through for MK fans again! Among the most popular items from the preview of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon seen in the most recent issue of Game Informer magazine has been the render showing the game's complete roster. Now, our contacts at Midway have provided the render of the roster seen in that issue, that we are making available in four different wallpaper sizes! The renders are available in 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, and 1600x1200 formats. (Hover your mouse over each thumbnail to see which one goes to which format.)

The release date for MK: Armageddon has been revealed! The next Mortal Kombat game is set to be released on October 2, 2006, according Gamestop. Gamestop has also put up pre-orders for both Xbox and Playstation 2.

Midway has released twelve new screenshots from their upcoming PC port of their collection of arcade classics, Midway Arcade Treasures: Deluxe Edition! Among these screenshots are two screenshots from the first Mortal Kombat; we have confirmed that MK1 is now included in Midway Arcade Treasures: Deluxe Edition!
