In any event, don't challenge people to Deception/make this into a Deception thread on the classic forum, as Deception is not a classic MK game, I'm sure there's threads in the Deception forum.

You clearly, and I say without any fear of contradiction, have no idea how to play UMK3 against a person, and this has been going on for a while now, you have made NO effort to finding out how to play UMK3 online, therefore you have no credibility. A lot of us have reputations as players and can go simply by that alone.

For this topic's original purpose I must say that the PS version is far superior to everyway except loading. The loading I don't think is too bad though in my opinion. By now though I am sure that you know everything about both versions so I will just leave it at that.

in your above post i can understand why u HATE the psone controller cuase it's button layout sucks ,well not sucks but aint as good as the way the N64 controller is setup... cause to be honest i would agree with you on this issue (controller wise) cause all "6" buttons are on the surface which is perfect for a game like MKT ... it's just the actual quality of the overall game itself ... im pretty sure the PSONE version is better in that sence... since it's gameplay is nice ... pretty damn good sound, unlike N64 version which sounds horrible... this u can pretty much consider fact... cause any person with decent hearing can EASILY tell the psone version "sounds" better.

but i can respect your "opinion" ... based on controlls i would rather play the N64 version but thats about it ;)

MKT for PSX ran fine on my comp when I had my P3 450. Its remarkably easy on the system.

i aint saying N64 version is better.... BUT i do agree with his point about the standard psone controller vs n64 controller... cause MK is generally made for the standard 6 buttons on the surface... which favors N64 version ... dont get me wrong though besides this issue i would say psone version is better in just about every way.

Actually MKT for PSX is easier then UMK3 for the arcade or MKT for N64.

I have heard a lot of people prefer the N64 controller. I think if I had played more Goldeneye on an N64 controller I would have gotten into it more. I played a bunch of Perfect Dark later on but with third party controllers that pretty much looked like a psx controller. Still, my favorite controller is the Keyboard, although the buffering of the d-pad you can do with that really is illegal. Perhaps something that looks like a keyboard with a d-pad designed to mechanically prevent abuse...
