the only thing that sucks about it is that you have someone always telling people how good he is, you see how he actually plays, and he plays like the casual player. nothing i havent seen before, nothing to be excited about. i said i could beat him, and he has to be the big dog and tells me to make a trip. ha

MrSchpfmut - Exactly, you can't be perfect every second of every match. It's all about who your competition is and what I've seen alot of so far is "giving chances/rounds"...something that I do to keep my comp around and not push them away with no chance of winning. Taunting right next to your opponent, playing with them...that is what Ray is doing alot...I think it's great, and funny too.

Plus, this isn't a tournament or even a real serious competitive match...just two friends having fun. You can't expect all this great style and beatdowns. Just watch and enjoy, it gets better.

Scorpio, I don't doubt your skills, you just get very hostile verbally. I don't understand why you get pissed cause he won't drive to you to play, are you gonna drive to Chicago? There is no room for an argument. PERIOD!

I back up Ray when people get on his case not just because he helped polish the gameplay and made it fun and what it is, but I've also met him a few times now and he's a really cool guy too.

It seems a lot of people here (not Scorpio specifically) forget that he's a person just like me and you, just he's now living a dream, playing and now creating part of Mortal Kombat! Not many people can say that.

Anyways.... This post should be brought back to the videos and any comments. Konqrr, the vids look great I can't wait to see me vs Rayrokka online!

yeah, practice does make perfect and I have just recently started playing again. I'm making no excuses, and I hope you guys stop talkin smack and actually post your matches. This is all we have for right now and I think it's pretty kool, as long as it's constructive.

Konqrr has definitely studided my video and knows exactly what I was doing.

Taunting right next to your opponent is a sign of casual play.

You know, I use Reptile in pretty much the exact same way.
Except I occasionally switch to his Crab style if people get annoyed with me repeating that combo. And then I just reverse them to death!

There are better Scorpion vids coming soon. Although I think that match showed how insane Pi Gua really is...it also shows how 3 in hapkido has hi priority and you can still get 20% or bigger starting from 3 in hapkido.

Rayrokka I watched your Reptile and your Johnny Cage and from what I watched I strongly advice that you block low a lot more. You fell victim to way to many sweeps. Keep the vids coming. I need to watch the rest.

Just a forewarning, there may be a few things that I repeatedly (sometimes quite often) fall for some tricks of rayrokka's. I will say they are his because it's stuff that the computer would never throw at you. The comp, even on MAX, never catches me guessing, but playing Rayrokka is like playing on MAX x 10! But I can hold my own against him... You'll see...

I've watched the Scorpion vs Drahmin match. Rayrokka there were way too many missed opportunities of the 2 in Oni. But you didn't get sweeped as much as you did in the Reptile and Johnny Cage matches. I can't wait to see the matches with Sub-Zero, also do you have any matches when you play Sonya cause I'd love to see your skills with her. Keep the Vids coming.

I had to scrap the Sub vs Scorp movie because the initial file is too big and every time I capture it the sound doesn't match up right. I'm sure there will be plenty more Sub-Zero action to come...still, some good stuff going up today.

I don't want to be too harsh but your vids were weak. Neither you nor your opponent seemed too skilled. I will say that your Reptile was good and you took advantage of many opportunities. Reptile is easy to play and at the same time being extremely powerful character. End the end not really that impressive. As for your other vids, not really a lot to say. But since you seem pretty keen that your Drahmin game is quite high, I would have to say it is not. It was obvious you were better than him (or her), but even with your opponent never really completing a combo (you seem to also suffer from this); they seem to beat your defense quite easily with very simple mix-up. Again, practice some more (along with your friend) and try to produce some higher-level of game play vids. I seem to remember in other topics you telling people about your high-level game play, but I just don’t see it.

Thats cool, some of the matches were quite lengthy... but, there's plenty of action (maybe 3 hours?) on the tapes so there's a lot to choose from. Would have been nice to see that clasic matchup though.
