You statement is completely false and maybe you should be the one thinking before opening your mouth. Every character has possibility of a mix-up. Some better than ones, but when you game consist of high attacks, combos that only hit high and specials which also it high, I would say that there is no mix-up. That is that the match looked like. Like I said before, very linear (mk3 type) match.

Shang only has one reliable low attack
i don't consider him to be a mix up type of character.

i've inspired him to start playing,and he has been playing everyday.

That makes me happy. I wish he would have started sooner, but money was an issue for him. He's using my copy of MKDA to learn from.

I told him what you guys think of his prowess, it's making him try harder which is good.

All the negative comments toward me will also make me try harder as well.

I think in retrospect the negative comments will only serve to make me better and try harder next mk session.

I'll be having about seven people over on friday to play. I will probably play as tight as possible, just because some of you guys are so nitpicky.

so in essence, you guys out there who think i suck are actually doing me a favor.

youre welcome. hopefully we get vids that are worth watching. this firs set should have been. after all the crap you said about how great you are and all that, i actually go and dl those vids expecting to see something great, and all i saw was general gaming. nothing i couldnt see anywhere else. if you cant handle anyones opnions then dont go around bragging knowing full well theres people that are gonna take shots at you.

wow, that's cool, man i am so envious, i wish i had 6-7 guys to play with. i live in Oklahoma and there aren't that many MKDA players here. i have a friend that i covinced to get a copy of MKDA and we play once in a while but he is a beginner level. as you know, my character is Raiden and he gets so scared when i pick Raiden that he won't play me unless i set my health to about 15-20%.
i got together with a guy from the MK5 board, EverClearVillain, and his friends a couple of times, but he gave up on me, so i got no one to play now,

anyway, that second match with Mr vs. Ray, Kitana vs. Shang Tsung was a classic. man, that's what MKDA is all about, fierce fighting, strategy, and quick reflexes. until the last second there i thought Ray would win, but i guess you aren't that good with Kitana. and his Shang Tsung was really good. i wonder if i stand a chance against any of you with my Raiden. i am good, but not that good, i tend to do the same mistakes all over and i can't do Raiden's triple style-branch combos (unless you count 1 out of 20 as 'being able to do them'). when i played a few more advanced players with Raiden, i did good aside from this one guy who kicked my a@$ all over the place with Shang Tsung. see, what i usually do is i start off in Nan Chuan and do a few mix-ups there usually ending with the Grab (FF+1). i rarely use Jujutsu as it doesn't really have any good combos, aside from the ones that end in Staff. if i find myself in trouble, i switch to Staff and i keep doing his special followed by either the 3-hit or the 4-hit combo in that style. one thing that works really well on almost everyone (does not work on Reptile) is this, i do the special move and if they block i immediately follow with 4-4-4. it's really good stuff, because very few people, and certainly not the AI, know how fast 4-4-4 is. they usually fall in the trap of thinking that if they block my special then they can immediately attack me with whatever attack and thus they expose themselves for my 4-4-4, which as i said is very fast. but anyway, enough of that.
