You guy's said you put the subtitles on, right? and it ACTUALLY said, "Time will lead to saibot." hmmm....this could actually be leading to something useful. Someone should write to Midway and ask why this was in the game and if it has anything to do with The Final Secret.

oh...thanks dude
Bajar Wrote: "Time will lead you to Saibot" was a reference to MK:T for the GBA where Saibot was an unlockable character. The second whisper says the same thing, only it is backwards, more distorted and it faded out a lot quicker. |

Someone here mentioned if you get any reward for unlocking all the koffins twice...Has anyone had the time to check it out? I mean, I tried the rain thing with the RA koffins and the IN koffins but it didnt work. Also, Ive thought about tring to unlock noob saitbot by opening koffins NO OB SA IB OT, but I think i might be wasting my time.
Since I last came on MKOnline I have been hunting for the final secret! Here is what I have come up with:
In the krypt there are 2 (yes 2) different types of whispers! One deffinately says something along the line of "time will lead to nood saibot".
The other whispering voice says something else but I cant make anything out! It deffinately says something but the echo makes it really hard to hear!
The fianl secret is not the constant TEST_YOUR_MIGHT after drahmins konquest (even though that is a damn cool cheat/glitch!
All the consept drawings for characters not including in the game are nothing to do with the secret! That would just be stupid! Lying! Plain and simple!
I havnt got a gameshark myself but if people say that you can play as jade and lui kang then I believe them and this is most possibly the final secret! What this has to do with "time will lead to noob saibot" i dont know!
Anyway thats as much as I know! If anyone figures out what that second whisper is saying please post it to me for a second opinion!

The whisper mentioning Noob Saibot is talking about Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition, where Noob Saibot appears as a playable character. The second whisper is the first one backwards.
The Test your Might thing is a glitch, and I think it was corrected on the newer versions of the game.
The pictures of any character found in the Krypt have nothing to do with the secret.
The only person who ever said that Liu Kang and Jade were playable with a game shark was molochtheoni. He has not proven that it works, and if it did, then it would've been all over the Internet, along with screenshots of the two characters. Plus, someone on the boards tried out the codes, and they didn't work. What a surprise...

I think we have exhausted all leads for the Final Secret, if there is one. "Button Combos" just is not enough. That's liek saying that a murderer in a murder case is a person.
I believe we are at a point where The MK Team, not Midway, needs to publically confirm the existance of the Final Secret. "yeah, is't in there!"
If there is, they need to give a better hint, keep it obscure, but somekind of hint.
PLEASEEE!!!

"Look for certain button combinations everywhere."
Including the enter you code thing at the bottom, Which I think is the most logical place, or In the game itself, as your playing. This your clue.
Where it says enter your code press up, down, L-trigger, x, down, up.

guys, the final secret is the Version Code. I mean, Boon said it himself." There is a version code in there somewhere, off the top of my head i cant even remeber the code."
That means there is a version code in there. And if there is another final secret, it might have something to do with that ghost in the house of pekara thing.
I tried it where the ghost gives you health back. It works. maybe thats the final secret.
I'll keep trying button combos but the only place where the combo should be put is the main menu.

Ahh yes, the Version Code. But why in the hell would it be worth getting anyway? Do you even KNOW what a Version Code is? We should all just forget about it cause somebody would have remembered it if it was THAT important they would know it and already told us. Nobody would keep fans waiting so long just to know about one insignificant secret that probably doesn't even exist. Midway was running out of money and that's why they could not finish making blaze and mokap and after it was released they needed more money. Midway heard about someone completing the entire game and thought that soon everyone would beat it and have nothing else to look forward to, Midway made up the lie about a final secret so they could get MORE money and keep fans suspecting things until deception came out and then they could get even MORE money.

I wonder if the moderators/admins here ever directly asked Ed Boon or anyone on the MK Team about this possible Final Secret beside Fight Night. They might have been asked or told not to discuss it. At Midway they are clueless. I just wish they would either Konfirm that it exists or not.
I think I might sample the Krypt tonight and review it. Maybe run it through some filters. I agree that the noob reference is for Tournament Edition.
I think the Final Secret is on the Grassy Knoll. Ooops. Wrong conspiracy.

Wouldnt that be something if at the beginning of the game you pressed(for xbox)and held the two L and R triggers and, like in the beginning of MK2, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, and Moloch came out and did something funny. Everyone, keep looking for the version code or the final secret. It is OUT THERE! just like alligators in the sewers...you DO know that there are alligators in the sewers... right?
the subject of the version code was brought up again and i got to thinking, what if the code isn't for telling you what version you have, but is more like the master code and depending on which system and version of game you have then the code might differ...any thoughts??

That is what they mean by version code.

sorry that my post wasn't very clear on what i mean. what i mean to say is...X-Box for example would have a different code than PS2 because it is a different version of the game by platform. most people just suspect that the code is a universal code to find out a serial number for the game you have. my thought was that the VC is the master cheat of the game and would differ pending which platform the game is played upon. just thought i'd make sure you understood what i wanted to get across. please feel free to make any critiques you wish.

To make this version code understandable even more..Its just like MK3. In the SNES version, each code was different than the SEGA GENESIS version.
ALSO- The version code could be something like Soul Calibur 2, where each version has a different character..but I would doubt that, since Blaze and Mokap were put so late into the game.

we have already discussed theories about different codes on different platforms.
Each Version code would be different for each platform, or even each game itself.
Which brings up another question, could the button combos be different in each game to actually view the version code.
Each time another theory comes up it seems another 500 pop out of it.
Why dont we wait for deception...

I1m thinking in MK:
The pit...
Flawless...
x2...
Max...
Fatality...
Watch the stage...
Is it simply a glitch that I saw, or something unique? I was on the stage: House of Pekara and ice wasn't raining. So maybe this should be done here to, in front of the ghost that we know. I'm telling this, because I don't really belive this version code thing. What are the chances of findig it. And it is different in every console, every, gane. What are the odd's?

A couple of pages back someone mentioned something about... if they didn't have time to finish Mokap and Blaze, how would they have time to add another character?
Well, who's to say that another character wasn't made BEFORE Mokap and Blaze?
However, I doubt there is another character because it would have been mostlikely discovered with a gameshark. Once you find one character in a game, you can find them all by usually changing just one digit.
As for the "version code". It probbaly tells them what build number the disc is for debugging purposes. Just like software gets bug fixes and recompiles, so do games. So, this being the case, "try all sorts of button combos all over the place" would probably refer to the opening screen. You'd want quick access to see what version you are looking at if debugging and wouldn't want to have to go 3 or 4 screens deep to access that info.
It's probably a simle code of 5 buttons or less and it probably just pops up a line of text on the screen like v.1.01.1422. There are probably only a few versions that made it to a disc master. They must duplicate hundreds of thosands of discs at a time. To keep changing the master would be a pain. (There is no way to put a unique code on each disc).
