well, with my experience of codes and such, and the history of mk, shouldnt the version code start out like * up, up, down, down, left, right,*
and then some other button configurations? Just a thought.

Didn't Boon say that something big would happen in the game when you unlocked all the coffens. I cant remember where i heard that but just being pissed off that nothing happend. Have any of you heard this before.

a couple people here at MKonline ..deciphered the whispers a few months ago..and one of them deff says time will lead u to saibot..i forget what the other said tho..i think i still have it saved on my comp ..ill look for it and post back

Just a thought...in the openning cutscene, at the beginning where it says," some seek the tornament for revenge, some for power, and some for immortality" they show pictures of the character's bios. However, why is Shao Kahns picture in the opening cutscence? Unless he is a secret character...mabey the whispers we all heard say "time will lead you to shao kahn" instead of "sai bot". I dunno..its just a thought...

this secret stuff is really stupid.Why doesn,t ed boon just tell us the secret already.Why does john vogel say when we asked him are there other characters after mokap and blaze are unlocked he said to keep on playing the game?

I vaguely remember that the answer was vague. I think something about button combos and/or keep trying.

One voice isnt enough to get people's attention these days. You gotta gather multitudes of people. So, who knows how to email boon directly?

Plus we need a list of email addresses of as magazines that we know of. A lot of editors, reviewers put their email addresses out there. Most of the websites have forms. This email wil be different than the one to Midway/Boon.

i don ́t know if someone have already mentioned it but....
i think that we don't have any new secret.. like in MK4 for N64, there was a Gameshark Code that u were able to play with kitana... but kitana was like tanya skin and had same moves(it was just a graphic of an unfinished char) ... i think that some graphics of unfinished characters are hidden somewhere in the game .. maybe the final secret is to use this graphics in another player like in MK4 kitana... just a thought..

But it was neither a denial that it existed, it was more like they had no idea what we were talking about with "button combo" and the such.

K0MBAT asked and the response that he got was that it is indeed, the version code. You'd have to ask him to explain in depth because thats all I know.

From what I remember, on the front page of MK5.org... When Ed Boon was asked about the version code he didn't really acknoweldge any final secret. His response didn't really even confirm or deny anything about any version code =/

I'm thinking if he or anyone at Midway gets asked again we're pretty much going to get either ignored or recieve the same answer (an answer that would likely end us up in some more circles).

i've been reading this for a long time before deciding to post. i dont know if this was ever mentioned or not, but has anyone beaten ever part of the konquest mode on the first try? you know how it auto saves and everything, maybe that has something to do with it

Who the heck knows. It all relates to Pablo Garcia mentioning "keep trying button combo" on the Fight Night chat. It is referred to early in this thread. He was asked what about a final secret that no one has found yet. That was his answer, whether or not his answer refers to any secret is unknown.

Whether the version code is the final secret has yet to be Konfirmed. Whether or not there is a Final Secret is yet to be Konfirmed. KOmbat has yet to post what Boon said.

Mabey the final secret is Blaze's fatality. He must have one, since the "Finish Him/Her!" screen still comes out. Mabey the "try looking for different button combos" statement was referring to this.

hmmm...all I can say is the final secret will soon be revealed..as its already less than 50 days until MK:D comes out. Hopefully the Version code will let you do one button fatalitys, infinate health, koins, one hit kills, ect.

I gotta say, if the version code is the final secret, that'd be a huge let down to me. If a final secret is hyped up a lot (granted the fans are the ones that have done 90% of the hyping) it should deliver. I was hoping for Shao Khan, Rain, Noob, Liu Kang, Shinnok, I dunno, something that would make my jaw drop even a little. If I had to get everything in the game or whatever just to get something that allows me infinite koins, I'd eat the game out of spite.

I wonder though, if the final secret could come along after a certain amount of game time has been logged? I doubt it though, otherwise it probably would've been found by now. Ugh. The worst part is that you know Boon and company will never tell. Isn't there still an ultimate combat code that no one can figure out still floating around for crying out loud? That was probably seven or eight some odd years ago!
