If Ed did not make the game for secrets, then why has every MK game included them? The secrets are part of the challenge.

Ok..Ill try posting this again...since I deleted this entire message right when I was about to Submit it. I have good news and I have some bad news. The good news is that I have the exact words the Whispers in the Krypt say. They infact do, say "Time will lead you too Saibot". The bad news is that I cant prove it, because I dont know how to download the whisper talk unto this post...im sure if I knew how to I would have it up. Also, this "time will lead to saibot" thing
got me thinking about the Clock that records your game time in Single Player mode...Its up in the Top-Left corner there. Then I thought....what if you have to beat the game under a certain amount of time? I tried, but nothing special happened. So, I will keep looking, and when I come back Hopefully I will have the Answers you seek..Ill keep toying with the game to see what I can find. Also, If anyone has ties or connections to BOON in any way..please ask him to give us one more clue. These are the Clues we have so far-
#1. Look for button combinations everywhere.
#2. Time will lead you to saibot
we NEED a third clue...I think if we had it, we could solve this puzzle...If I can find all the easter eggs in halo...ones in MK should be no prob.

In Tekken, if u beat the game under a certain time (I think it was 2:30 mins) you unlocked Devil Kazuya. Its possible, but maybe it isnt cus Tekken already did it...

..when you say lurking..i dont suppose you mean you got the same questions i have,"why, in the krypt would they have a message in the krypt with supposedly no meaning?" and other questions like"Mortal Kombat is known for its main menu cheat options. Why not put them in MK:DA?" cmon folks, only three months until MK:D comes out. ....Ok. I just got done messing around with my Mortal Kombat game and found something interesting. In the Extras option, under the Concept art, there was a picture of the portal stage. I was reading the Information on it, and it said," to enter the portal to travel realms, one must confront their greatest enemie and defeat them in order to gain axcess. In the Konquest, your greatest enemie is yourself. So I did some thinking, mabey something will happen if I face myself in single player mode at the Portal stage, and win a double-flawless? I tried, and after 30 minutes of frustration, I managed to gain a double-flawless victory in the portal stage, against the same person as myself. Too bad nothing happened. So scratch that idea.

I don't know if someone said that before but did you saw that it says : Keep trying all sorts of places FOR button combos..... . they say for so we have to search for someone to give us a combo (maybe saibot) .

time will lead you to saibot... maybe this means you have to wait long enough in the menu (or the krypt) and they will show noob fighting instead of of the other fighters and liu kangs death.

maybe you have to enter a menu or somewhere else enough times for noob to appear.

no one knows, only time and nerds (or boon) will tell...

Hmm..kinda like just waitung and watching the kata's one by one. Unless the time part of the krypt message refers to how many times you have beat konquest..i beat it twice and making my third trip.

I keep seeing people referring to the fact that Boon has said he'll tell us the final secret when Deception comes out. When did he ever say that?

I think someone just made that up and it's been said so many times that most people think it is true.

Last I heard, Boon said he wasn't sure what the final secret was that Paolo Garcia was referring to, and that the version code existed but he didn't remember how to access it.

why do i have the feeling that we're trying so hard to find out this final secret when it's just right underneath our noses. If it's true that Boon will give us the final secret when Deception comes out we'll be giving a huge sigh of relief and wonder why we didnt think of trying it before.

you dont need a recorder to hear what the whispers say in the krypt. There are two sets of whispers. the first whisper says, "time will lead you to saibot" and the second whisper says the same thing as the first one, only more faster and backwords...but its a lie. If the second whisper, in fact did say, tobias ot uoy dael lliw emit, then why does the whisper sound like this: chaa..chu cho chu chaa..chu cha? So mabey you DO need a recorder to hear the second whisper..but you can plainly hear what the first one says.
