Wouldn't it be considered fraud if it was found that there was no secret? A way to boost sales by misleading people that there is something more, thru "button combinations".

Why did you post this here AND make a thread about it, that's clearly a waste of bandwidth. Again, this thread is not for whining, for or against this supposed secret. This thread is simply here to inform users.

To answer your question FujinFighter, it was confirmed by a source that Noob isn't in this game I believe.

To dismiss the possibility of a final secret probbly is a little over the top, on the opposite side of the fence, people comming up with all these crazy theories isn't good either. What makes it bad is, people take these theories and start reguarding them as fact.

We will probbly won't know for a long time if there is anything els in MK:DA, and no matter what anyone says, some people will always try to find something out, although there is a strong possiblity nothing els intentially was put in the game for players to figure out.

BTW, did anyone ever find the Ultimate Kombat Kode for MK Trilogy?

Anyway getting back to the orignal topic, by final secret the devlopers could have meant anything, for instance silver goro in mk1, or ermac.... not intended to be there, but some people reguard them as secrets.

no i dont think they found the ultimate code for mortal kombat trilogy, though if they did find it, i would really like to see what happens

well, i may not have a ps2 (not yet is all) but i think that the final secret has something to do with either the krypt, the portal stage, the loading screens, the lin kuei temple or all of the above, but like i said, its just my opinion, i do think that the version code is some how unlockable with button combos, but i do not believe it is the final secret

even thoughwe have all of this info we still can't crack it. The code mut be extremely hard to figure out or so simple we just overlooked it. i rekon that boon and co are only going to release the secret just before mk6 release. I thinkits doubtful we'll find without further clues

but who knows, perhaps boon might not even tell us, remember it was years afterwards til he told us about a older mk's secret code for the combat tomb arena, who knows

Crow i like your idea on the portal stage and have tried to use it right after i found out about how it works. Now my thoughts on it is if only 3 of them can use the portal, raiden might not work and only shang/quan can use it. and if you travel into the portal just maybe u can fight Liu Kang. remember the intro when they kill him. maybe liu is the hidden on the other side of the portal. just a thought..

Now I was thinking about the "the secret is in the coupons" phrase. I remeber seeing a coupon for the game, U think i could find it hell no. so i looked real close at what i was doing and ?tion the fact that i could still buy coffins in the krypt. I remember hearing that you had to have all the things unlocked and finished in the game before you found the last secert in the game. Now I started the game over and I am almost done with unlocking everthing. and I found something that might work, u know open the final secret. now it could be nothing but i will try it out and let you know.

People who hacked the game say they found nothing well thats nice but they are wrong. people beleave these guys just cause they are hackers and think they know it all. don't get me wrong but i know a lot of hackers and they are great people but thats how people look at them i think. Now just for every one to know is that programers put test codes into games so they can skip levels and stages and test codes and secrets out. and most of the code is not taken out of the game. so your secret could still be there. I know this from game testers and Programers. maybe they lied to me but they are friends of my.

i dont know about this version code, but if boon said it works on all system, does that mean the gba too?

Anything is possible, but if it's something that in depth, all I have to ask is,, why?

If there is some huge chain of pointless events that take place for some 2 bit secret, maybe in MK6, you should just spend more time working on the actual game..........

I post my opinion on this matter a week or so after the game came out and got flamed for. My idea also just got brushed off. So I'll post it again. I believe that the final secret is Moloch as a playable character. Shortly after the game was release; I think it was like 2 or 3 days there where screen shot of a PS2 gameshark code that allowed you to play as Moloch. It also showed he has a move list. Lets look at some more evidence that would support my theory. The only way he would have a programmed move list would be because he is a playable charcater. Also the 2 current secret charcater are select from under the botton 2 character raiden and cyrax i beleve. Since there is still one more slot for a hidden charecter under reptile (i'm unsure of the charter screen layout cause i haven't played it in a while). It also makes sense since the charcter select screen is a 3 across grid by 8 down. Also in previous MK games the bosses where usually in the middle or between where the other secret chacters where located.

during all of the time of the Katas on the demo the only button that activates the main menu is start so maybe you perform it there like you do the button combos to match what the character is doing.

I just think that a lot of people should remember where the codes have been before : The character select screen and the menus.

there are a few menu screens that just don't look finished, like theres room for an extra few things and I don't think I'm the only one who finds it suspisious that there are 2 characters on the sides of the bottem and none in the middle.




so yeah, don't try button combos in the game at levels. All you'll end up doing is kicking the other guys ass. Instead try them at the menus and character select screens.

It's been nearly a year since MKDA came out, and still nothing on the final secret. Sob!

I was reading the fight night transcript a few minutes ago.One of the developers said "the secret is in the coupons?".He was asking a question not a answer. Ed Boon said at fight night that Blaze and Mokap do not have their own fatality's.So they may have fatality's but not their own.The 12:43 theory I have found some thing out about it here is what I did:Go to kontent then go to charcters then hit 1,2,4,3,If you keep hitting 1,2,4,3, during the load time you will hear a noise,I dont think it does anything though I havent seen anything yet and Im not making this up.

There is no final secret. It's obvious. Boon lied about no stage or second fatalities being due to wanting to concentrate on the fight and not the end. That is obviously pure bullshit. They just shipped an unfinished game AGAIN. Ed Boon and Midway as a whole have never ever released a game finished. In the arcades they had the chance to release upgrades. And not just one or two. The final MK1 was version 5! Took them that long to get it right. MK2 went to 3.1.

MKDA was released unfinished. Ed Boon is constitutionally retarded and unable to finish anything. this is evidence that everything he says is a lie. He thinks he is being clever but it gets annoying after so many years of lies. Ermac was a lie. The final secret is a lie.
