I know The Bank isn't in the arcade UMK3 and I believe Hidden Portal is gone too.

I have 56k so I won't take the time to wait for the video to stream. I take peoples word that the video does show Jade's Desert. At the same time I don't think that UMK3 is in. I think so because at the bottom it shows all the copyrights dates/dates of the year the game release. Considering MK3 was released in 1995 and at the bottom of the site it says the same thing for MK3. As many of toy know UMK3 was released I think in 1996. in my opinion if it were UMK3 on the disk I think the copy right would be like 1996.

Yeah, it did. MKT came out in 1996, with an upgraded Bank, which should have been in UMK3, but it doesn't really matter anyways.

DreemerNJ and I deduced that there are mathematical reasons why the Bank doesn't show up, and it probably has something to do with the system's ram, or how it loads the stages, in blocks of memory. The Bank is still physically there because UMK3 is just added chip sets.

Mortal Kombat 3 came out in early 1995, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 came out in late 1995. So the release date applies to either one.

The video just shows UMK3 footage, they didn't make any promises the game would be included in the colleciton. Though they could possibly get sued for false advertising on the site.

That would go way beyond false advertising if the IN-GAME MENU clearly shows UMK3 and it ends up just being normal MK3. Look at the screenshot |ombat posted and you'll see what I mean.

If it's the in-game menu showing UMK3, I'm going to go with UMK3. One of the MODs should try and get in touch with Midway though so they can clear this up for us.

It's annoying, they say MK3, but that's when MK1 and MK2 were on it, they remove MK1 and show Kabal and Smoke on Jade's Desert, and Kitana and Mileena fighting on the Tower, but now it's just plain old MK3. Not even with online play. It's a whole load of rubbish and I'm not going to waste money on that shit. Hopefully they'll still release UMK3 in the future.

Has anyone else noticed in the trailers that Cyrax's name doesn't appear in his lifebar?

But this really burns me! They specifically show footage from UMK3, it's obvious that it's UMK3 from the characters and stage shown, then they turn around and give us this MK3 BS select screen? What are they trying to pull?

Not only do they show the MK3 select screen, but the MK3 storyline screens as well. It's MK3, and that is crap. But like I said, a future release of UMK3 with netplay is in order, maybe even MK4. They could release them as "MK Kompetitors Pack" or something. Sorry just throwing out ideas, I am angry with no direction. And of course I still want my arcade quality MKT.
