Go there, and look at Official Trailer 2. 26 seconds into the video, it shows footage of MKT, but it says Mortal Kombat 3 right below it. Really annoying.

"They specifically show Jade's Desert, Kitana, and Mileena fighting eachother. They will have a false advertising claim against them now if they DON'T have UMK3 on the disc. "

anyway i know a lot of you love umk3 and i did too....but really, it is a different game than MK3. I'm very glad they are releasing MK3, I was very fond of that game. Maybe next arcade treasures will have like UMK3, MK4, Wargods etc

I just watched the teaser for it, now it shows MKT footage with Human Smoke spearing MK2 Kung Lao on the portal with the MK3 energy bars, and then it shows Kabal spinning Rain on Jade's Desert at finish him. I'm getting angrier as I'm typing because this is obviously BS.

We know it's going to be MK3. Just all the false-advertisement is annoying. The UMK3/MKT footage shouldn't be there.

For history sake, MK3 and UMK3 should separate games, since each game were different parts of the MK3 series.

It would be great if umk3 was in instead of mk3 but mk3 is still a great game and is underated sure theres not as many fighters in it but its still a great game. And the false advertising for mat2 is bs.Just be thankful they didnt put in that piece of crap mk4.

What in God's name are you people talking about? We KNOW it's MK3, but the principle of the matter is in question damn it. Don't show UMK3 and MKT if you're putting in MK3, it pisses me off. It might not be a big to YOU but it's a matter of buying the whole title or not to me. MK3 = not going buy it and the same goes for a big % of the people who would even think about buying it for MK games. It's not being advertised as anything but MK3, it never has, but we are shown TEASING clips of other games that aren't being advertised. That defines not fair and it also reinforces the lengths they will go through to intentionally disappoint customers.

The fact that they are advertising MK Trilogy and UMK3, when in fact we are only getting an incomplete lame game in MK3 really pisses us off. I am disliking Midway and Ed Boon more and more each day.

blueoaklyz why are you calling kunglao a baby? he has a very good point, if midway will not put umk3, the REAL version of mk3 in the compilation, then they shouldnt advertise it with a picture of kabal and smoke fighting in JADES DESERT, which is a stage only available in mkt and umk3. He has every right to complain.

After watching again I realized there are clips from MKT PSX and not even UMK3 arcade, littering these official teasers/trailers. They are supposed to tease you with what's GOING to be in the game not what ISN'T going to be. It's also called unprofessionalism. Tell me why this is within the realm of being OK to do.

I am TIRED of people attacking me. I have said plenty of times I know it is going to be MK3 but you don't listen. You have missed the point everytime. The point is don't show clips of games that won't be on the God damn disc. I don't care if you think we're complaining about nothing because we aren't. They have the capability to put UMK3 on MAT2 still, at this very moment they aren't even fully emulated. So they go ahead and put in the official trailer footage that of which isn't going to be in the game. It's just like movie previews that show tons of cool footage that never makes the final cut, but this isn't the movies, it's a video game that is already finished for them which has no quota of run length that needs to be met as a guidline, they just have to make it compatible with existing hardware. There's plenty to complain about so stop thinking you're tough cause you're not, no one is. Tired of it and tired of anti-opinioned garbage. It's everywhere and I hate it.
It's unfair to tease us with UMK3/MKT footage when we all know it's going to be stupid ass MK3.

MKT was never even in the Arcades so I think we can all assume that the footage in that trailer has mistakes. Just a mess up in footage, not false advertising because it's advertised as MK3 and all the game info points to MK3. So chill out ya'll, it's MK3.

At first I wasn't looking foward to MAT 2, and alot of people I know weren't either and weren't going to get, untill we saw Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and Mortal Kombat Trilogy being advertised in the offical sites teaser, but it is saying Mortal Kombat 3 and not Mortal Kombat Trilogy nor Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. Mortal Kombat 3 is a good game, but if people are becoming confused, and pretty much very angry, I read on a message board, this could be false teasing or false advertisment. I do think it is wrong to post UMK3 and MKT footage if its not going to be there. I sincerly hope you plan on putting Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 or Mortal Kombat Trilogy(Probably this one since you do have this footage too and would be wrong to just ignore it) into MAT2, not just for a better game overall, but for, well Midway's own good, so that you have no legal issues.

They are advertising MK3 in a way, but they are also advertising UMK3/MKT because it shows freakin footage of both of them.
