Sonya, Jax, Cage, and Raiden. Raiden can be saved with a good storyline but the other 3 have no hope whatsoever. Please toss them.

None of them, but with the ever changing story these days, you never know :). I thought it was weird the way that Fujin just disappeared. I mean, I know that nobody really liked him but it was like 'puff, gone!'

i think johnny cage and jax should go, i really hate them. i think the idea of robot ninjas is really stupid so cyrax, sektor and smoke should go. The human characters are alot better. Kano has to go aswell he's annoyin. kitana and mileena should both be in mk6

I think the OLD characters of the series of Mk: Sonya, Cage, Jax, and Liu Kang should stay in the game...wait, not Liuy Kang he can be dead.

I mean, one of the resosns I loved this Mk was cause they brought ALL the Mk1 characetrs back! The originals would never be left out. Lius dead was a great thing to the game....But talking about OLD ones I say SCORPION AND SUB-ZERO. god, they are cool and whatever, BUT theyve gotten sooo boring. At least Scorpions, whos only mission since Mk1 was to kill his familys bla bla.

IMO, the lack of depth in DA cuases a quick decline in the longevity of all the characters. They all move the same, juggle the same, etc. The DA system is to systimaticle, so to speak. Becuase of that I seam to lose intererst in characters quicker than say Tekken or SF. Peace and love ya'll.

some of the old characters do get a bit boring sometimes. i'm not a big fan of cage in this one, he's fun to fight with sometimes and i don't mind him being in the games since he was there from the beginning, but there's nothing special about him. i kinda didn't care that they killed off liu kang. he was not a very interesting character. raiden is ok, but they should maybe introduce another god who isn't gay like fujin though, for variety. my opinion of kano is similar to that of cage. when i first found out sonya was going to be in mkda, i was a little let down because i never really liked her, but she's a good fighter and they did a lot better job with her character design than they had in the past. she actually looks tough now, whereas before it was hard to take her seriously. as far as sub zero and scorpion go, i think they should always have a place in the mortal kombat lineup because let's face it, they're just sweet characters. i don't know if i'd even bother to play a mortal kombat without sub zero in it.

also someone said something about everyone wanting jax, the only black guy in the game, to die. well, to this i just have to say that we don't want jax to die because he's black, we want him to die because he's kind of lame. he was cool in mk2, but i am a bit baffled at him becoming such a major character, because there's nothing great about him, he's just this big strong black dude. the cool thing about mortal kombat has always been the weird characters with interesting powers and abilities, not big muscle men that are just ordinary fighters, which is exactly what jax is. they might as well put a character in the game called "tyson" who has a fatality where he bites off your ears and you bleed to death.

it seems a lot of people also complain about the cyberninjas, to which i agree, but i think having one in the game isn't such a bad thing. i actually like cyrax in mkda. they went way overboard in mk3 though. sektor should stay gone, since they make it relatively clear that sub zero defeated him for leadership of the lin kuei.

sub zero, scorpion, reptile, kitana, kung lao are all characters which should stick around indefinitely, because they've been consistently good. kenshi, mavado (with more interesting special moves), quan chi, and nitara are newer additions i'd like to see in future mortal kombats.

as for characters i wish were still in the game but were ditched along the way? kabal. he was probably the only really good new character they introduced in mk3 and they wrote him out as they wrote mavado in. maybe they can bring him back in a way that isn't queer.

Cage and Kano.

Well, with Liu Kang now dead, which was a pretty good idea because with his flying kick and high and low fireballs, it can turn into a battle where the Liu Kang user simply tries to avoid battle by overusing these, hence the battle becomes boring, so offing him wasn't a bad idea. I definately think Kung Lao should stay, he's an awesome character and one I find more interesting than Liu Kang. I'm not to crash hot with how Johnny Cage has turned out in MK: DA, sure, his model doesn't look too bad, but, I just don't get how he seemingly keeps coming back, I think he should be just killed off. So my vote goes to Cage.

The very first version of Johnny Cage as in MK1 was the best, even to this day. He looked meaner, put his sunnies on at the end of a win and had the great package check move (think that's what it was called). Even his missile throw looked better in the original MK.

shang stung he tries to kill liu kang 1st mk 2nd mk 3 mk 5th time he killed.then he might as well turn in to his demon form.i would be mad if i kept closing like that.johnny cage i dont like him but they should keep him for some reason i like making fun of him.kano he keeps resurecting over and over again nothing new.

You can all go on and on about characters that should be gone from the game.. but honestly would you like your fav character to make an exit from the game. I was so pissed when I didn't see Scorpions picture on the character select screen of MK3. So I won't wish any characters gone from the game. What do you expect them to do... create a new cast of characters for every new mk game?

I think this are way too old: Scorpion and Sub-Zero. And also Kitana. Give Sindel her Throne!!! A friggin' MASKED PRINCESS??? Does it have any SENSE???? Her mask had sence back in MKII when she was supposed to be an assasin...

And FIVE VERSIONS of "get over heres" is plenty enough, that guy Scorpion is friggin' borin' with the same custome and moves.

Oh and by the way, MK IS old schoolers in case you haven't noticed. The original characters will keep returning back basically because of the Major fan base they have. And I'm sorry for most of you but that includes Sonya and Cage and Raiden and the rest... So I guess I'm gonna have to BEAR another BIG BORING "get over here", but I'll kick that butt with Sonya's great kicks and... Kiss!!!!! Yeah!

The only reason these 2 ever got involved in MK was because of Kano.

Well I find nothing wrong with the Special Forces. I like it alot. But I'd say Special Forces vs RED Dragon now...

I wish they would get rid of special forces. Kenshi's involvement killed alot of my interest in him as a major character.
