Who is your favorate NEW character?

I seen most of the favorat character discussions. But not so many people seem to say anything about the new characters. Don't get me wrong,the old characters are classics, But i want to see everyones opion on who is there favorate new character. Mines is Mavado's. Anyone else?
I would say Nitara.
I think she is one of the only new characters that has story potential for a return in MK6.
I also like that they tried something new as well, i.e. involving a vampire.

Yeah. I also like how they did something new. I hope they make another vampire or bring her back.

Frost, finally a female charector that is fun to use. Too bad shes too much like sub-zero. In mk6 i sure as hell hope they give her moves that give her a difference between her and sub-zero.

I agree. The first time I saw Nitara I was shocked, I was very impressed of her character model designe. Her story is well elaborated and shes very powerfull.

I think shes the best New character Mk has been given. I have many hopes to see her back in Mk6 along side a male vampire. Maybe, Nitara will lead an army of vampires to attack earth or the Dragon King. Anything with her would be cool. Also Kenshi, hes my 2nd fave new character, he has one of the most original looks ever!

Hey that idea kicks ass. i love to see the Red dragon return. I think it would be cool to have a female member.

That would be pretty cool. Having a femele member of a crime Organization like the Red Dragon or Black Dragon would be awsome. I imagine the "cat fight" of the evil woman and Sonya.

Either Nitara or Mavado, as they have the strongest storylines.

I was much impressed with Nitara, finally a female character with a little originality. Though I wish they'd make her a little less revealing next time, she's a vampire after all, not a supermodel.

Mavado may have infact saved Kano's storyline, if he lives. Kano had started to lose his potential, but the Red Dragon's addition to the game gives him new life. Either a rivalry between the two Dragon clans, or one between The Red Dragon and Lin Kuei would be excellent for MK6.

Kenshi too has good potential, I would have a hard time choosing my favorite new character in MKDA, most of the characters are pretty strong additions to the lineup.

I like nitara and kenshi. They are both great charectors who are worthy of a return in the next game.

In a way i feel Kenshi rivals Kung Lao in next major character. Kenshi is very original as well as Nitara. And yes i don't like the fact Nitara is too revealing.

Frost because of story and fighting ability. Great character... all those who complain she is too much like Sub-Zero should think about this.

Also, i forgot to mention Kenshi, VERY original character. Has a lot of potencial.

Drahmin. He has a decent storyline and is a very powerful character if you know how to use him. And I've always been partial to non-human characters.

I also like Nitara and Frost is sometimes fun to use, although I find her too much like Sub Zero. And Nikodemus, about Sub Zero dying in MK6, I wouldn't count on it. I think Ed Boon has said he'll never make a MK game without Sub and Scorp.

No he said Scorpion was his favorite character. He never said he wouldn't leave Sub-Zero out of a mortal kombat game. Either way it was just a shut down for all the "Frost is too much like Sub-Zero" whiners.

Frost IS too much like Sub Zero...special move-wise at least. It's like how they took out Kano in MK4 and replaced him with Jarek. Completely unoriginal. And believe me, Sub Zero's not going ANYWHERE. His following is as big as Scorpion's and plotwise Sub is unlikely to leave MK unless he dies which will have his fans hella pissed and damage MK sales. The only reason they got away with leaving Scorpion out of MK3 was because plotwise he was still likely to return, and time proved his fans right.

My point is, killing off Sub Zero and replacing him with Frost is a bad idea that will gain Midway nothing. As of yet I've never seen a post saying "kill off Sub Zero." It just won't happen. I don't mean to start an argument but you're not shutting anybody down.

Yah and before Kang died everyone was posting threads about killing him off. grin Either way I love Sub-Zero he has been one of my favorite characters throught the mortal kombats. In MK3 when Scorpion wasn't on the select screen I was a little pissed but I started using Kabal and was happy using him. If Sub-Zero was missing in action and Frost was there she would be the one Sub-Zero lovers would be using bottom line.. sorry good night.

First of all, I haven't been on MK message boards at all til MKDA came out, so I wouldn't know if people were calling for his demise or not. But I know enough people hate him that somewhere on the internet there were threads about getting rid of him.

Anyway, yes, IF Sub Zero died Frost would probably be the first choice of his fans. But my point is that will never happen. Not anytime soon anyway. Remember, Midway is a corporation, and like any corporation there bottom line is money. They won't do something like remove Sub if it will jeopardize profits...and trust me, it will. Just look at MK3.
