Heck no! The Shao-Kahn-like voice is awesome!

It is a good voice but I would rather the MK2 and MK3 voice. The REAL Shao Kahn voice.

I actually think it's a great voice. It makes me remind of MK very much and I like the fact that this voice hasn't changed.

Change that hideous sound byte to something more frightening already. That thing is old, regurgitated a million times, and needs to be more aggressive, more menacing, and sometimes I feel it needs more animal-like qualities added to it.

How about "Imhotep" from the Mummy movies maybe. Until I identify with something modern, that is better than that characters voice, that's the pallete MkTeam.

What if we had Darkseid announcing for the DC side and Kahn announcing for the MK side? Thoughts? I think it's only fair that another powerful being from the DC side does their announcements rather than having Kahn do everyones.

Herman Sanchez was the announcer for MK4/MKG, MKDA, MKD, MKA, and now MK vs DC. At first I thought it was cool, but over time he started to sound a bit over-hyped and joking. In MK vs DC he just sounds deeper. Thats it. I'm hoping for another announcer when they decide to do the next M rated MK. When the announcer yells, "FINISH HIM" I want it so that people in the room will stop mid whisky drink and look to the screen in terror lol.


IMO Herman's Quan Chi voice is spot on though.

I agree, it needs more of a growl to it.

Khan's voice in MK2 sounded awesome, but it kind of got a bit too clean sounding for MK3.

I wish Steve Ritchie was still around, they could get him to change the voice up a bit but still have that raw quality.

I wish they would use Frank Welker's voice for games...

I think the announcer from MK Shaolin Monks was great it had that scarey growl to it.

My favorite announcers are those from MK4 and MK3.

With this new announcer, he sounds way too human, which sucks. I prefer Shao Kahn over anyone else.

I agree with Predator on this one.

While I love the Mk3 Kahn voice, I really really REALLY think it's time for something:

- New
- More Evil
- More Agressive
- Louder
- Scarier

Anyone listened to the Soul Calibur 4 announcer? Bores the hell out of me Shao Kahn is better anyday
