While inside the body, the metal sits in a heated pouch that keeps it liquified.

There are special muscles tarkatans have that are used to push out the metal, as well as pull it back in. While being pushed out, it goes through a cone-like tube that hardens the metal on contact. When being pulled in, the heat from the pouch melts the metal again, instantly, but keeps it concentrated, so that it won't go raw.

But that's just my theory.

Baraka: AMAZING!!!!

I really cant write much and go in detail, but I must say I absolutely LOVE his design and they truly did justice to him. So cool to see him with a fresh new look that has a classic feeling and not a boring repetitive recycled look.

The ONLY thing I really dislike, or that I I find very weird are HIS HANDS.

Am I the only one who sees this?

I dont remember, but have they always looked that human? Some crazy nails would had been perfect. Too bad.

Anyway.

I'm no fan of Lex and his overall character looks extremely boring, BUT the render is awesome and I like the look. Great job with the renders MK team!

Baraka ROCKS!

Agreed I'm not too happy with Lex's addition to the game but eh I'll get over it...

Lex looks like Lex, I just hate that we're gonna see a shit load of recycled cyber ninja moves. I still don't get all the hate. He was a given since day 1.

This is the best Baraka I've ever seen especially he's face looks great but what's with those weird shoes they're all wearing? grin
This makes me even want to see him in MK9 where he'd get to rip apart the enemies smile
As for Lex Luthor... Damn it should have been Brainiac...

But if I saw Lex Luthor pop over to my world through a portal wearing his purple and green tin outfit i'd die.


I could imagine the Mk cast laughing their asses of when they first see him in the MK realm..grin

I gotta disagree with you there. Lex looks badass. Plus he would royally pwn almost all of the MK characters, so they would die laughing, the Joker would love it.

BTW, here's hoping he has his usual suit and tie for his alt. Yeah, yeah, I know it will never happen, just like we won't get plainclothes Bruce and Clark, but I can still hope, right?

I'd rather have Brainiac/Lex from the JLU cartoon. He was badass. Though it would probably suck without the appropriate moves. But then again, other than a few generic blasts I don't remember him doing much.

Hmm... Robotic MK fighter dublicates...

I would greatly disagree with you there.


Especially since anyone who underestimates Lex live to regret it.He may not have Superpowers but he can still easilly own thouse who do.

They only retract partially, leaving the length that wouldn't fit all the way in exposed.

I'm really diggin Baraka's costume. The breastplate is a little off, but I really like it overall. I love his face. Simply monstrous and frightening, as it should be.

(It really makes me want to see this revamped Tarkatan face on Mileena sad Next Time I guess.)

Lex Luthor looks alright I guess...nothing really special about him.

Dammit, they had to give Baraka a camel toe too. Also, I lliked the dark eyes... it brought back that MK II feel... though the yellow isn't all that cartoony as it was in Deception so it's not that bad. Maybe in-game it will still be dark. Lex Luther looks great too, I bet he's one of the only few characters who is very powerful but also very quick and agile... I'd like to try them both out. Good renders
