Nitara has a neutral alignment i believe. but the funny thing is that when you complete the game as her, you see quan chi and tsung shaking hands as if their successful. that really questions her alignment in my opinion. it wouldn't surprise me if she was an ally to either quan or tsung in the next mk.
i love her 2nd costume, she looks sexy there.

Well I think that Nitara is a cool character, but I'm not exactly sure if putting a vampire character in the MK series was a good idea or not, because vampires don't really give an MK feel to them. As for her storyline, I expect to see a lot more development in that. It could have been possible that Nitara had some sort of an alliance with Shang and Quan. (thanks for the info nindz) However, I'm still a bit confused as to why Rayden/Raiden mentions her race of vampires as a threat. Could anyone please tell me if there was anything else in the storyline that involved Nitara in it? (from the Konquest missions)

Nitara has a average storyline, it dosen't give away much of the MK6 storyline. Guess Ed Boon really will put vampires as a important story structure for MK6. Well if Raiden does think that the vampire people pose a threat then i ges that just proves my point that she is evil. i'd prefer her to be evil. There's always lack of evil characters in mk games.

Nitara's is the worst ending in the game in my opinion (next to Cyrax's, which is pretty much the same) I mean it's so dull and long winded... they could have just said "Cyrax bought Nitata the orb that bound her world and she smashed it, saving her people." Badda bing, badda boom.

Oh and is it prounounced 'NEE-tara' or 'nih-TAR-ah'? Cause I've heard it prounounced both ways.

Well, seeing as how vampires feed on human blood and are predators by nature, I ́d say their existence itself poses a threat to humanity, and therefore to the Earthrealm wich Raiden has sworn to protect.

Is it just me, or is the Nitara post getting less attention than the Scorpion post? Anyway... Nitara's ending is ok description-wise, it eases up the dullness, besides, you gotta love her outfits, REAOW! lol. Later y'all

In Konquest the story of Nitara (or someone elses story) says that because of Nitara Shao Kahn is dead. And it alsos says in the game that she kept Reptile away from Shao Kahn. If Reptile was with him Shao would still have lived.
So i think even if she didnt had something to do with Shang and Quan she's still guilty.

I dont like Nitara being in MKDA. I think mortal kombat should go back to it's ancient, asian mythology, and kill off all the technological, gothic stuff.

I think nitara is the best new charector in mk. She has a decent storyline and some very powerful moves. She looks good in mk and her weapons are lethal. I hope they bring her back in mk6

I think nitara is the Best new character in MKDA. When she was first reveladed (that sxy image of her) people got wild about her. Shes defenatly cool.

Her ending COULD AND SHOULD had been better. I belive earth (in Nk6) will be attacked by vampires. Allied with the Dragon King, vampires will have no trouble on traveling back to earth...only IF the Dragon King turns out to be evil (wich we all hope).

Her fatality is great, could had been better, but its great 8/10. Her combos exelent, and her weapons is awsome.

she's probably my favorite of the new characters, with the possible exception of kenshi, but i think nitara has far more potential to have a developing storyline. i think that nitara is actually alligned towards the good rather than the evil. she returns cyrax to earthrealm when he completes the task she set him to, which shows that she has honor. if that were quan chi or shang tsung, do you think they would have returned him? i don't think so. now rayden does say that her race poses a threat to the safety of earth, but i think that is just because they are vampires and feed on blood. i didnt get the sense that the vampires had some political agenda for earth like shao kahn did.
i like the idea of her being in mk and i hope she returns in future games. i don't have a problem with vampires being in mk, and i think people should realize that vampires exist in many different mythological systems throughout the world, including asian ones. so when they call nitara a vampire i don't think they mean it in a count dracula way, but more a mythological creature with wings that feeds on blood. from that perspective, i think that it's a very cool character idea and i'm glad they went with it.
she's a great fighter. the diversity of her moves is probably second only to scorpion. she's got a good variety of launchers and low attacks with a traditional sweep (always a favorite of mine and, imho, an mk essential). her unicorn kick is a cool special, as is her blood spit, but i do wish they had given her some sort of ability to fly, since she does have wings. the only time she uses them is with one of her escapes, where she flaps them and she scoots back a bit. a cool move would be if she flapped them really quickly and flew strate at the opponent to claw at them or kick them, ala li mei's flying punch move (but cooler). her blood suck move is really awesome, and clever that it replenishes some of your life. weapon stance is cool. nice combo options with that low attack in there to catch people off guard. her combos in general are nice and long if you want, and her powerup makes these deadly, although i never use powerups or reversals (i think they're cheap). i like her alternate costume better, because you can see the tatoos on her legs and i think those boots with the chains look much more killer than the stalkings and high heals of her primary costume. i like her face from the primary more though, since the second one it looks like it's painted white with corpsepaint or something.

well know that you mention it, doesnt nitara remind you of sindel?
i mean the goth look plus flying ability?
all nitara needs is sindel's float move, we would have had a form of Sindel in mkda.

I like Nitara's alt best, reminds me a lot of the comic character "Shi" due to her makeup, and Gene Simmon's "Demon" outfit with her boots.

She's a great character, one of my fav. of the new blood.

I'm happy with the addition of Vampires to MK, it fits in well with it's overall theme.

Okay, so it's pretty much agreed that she should join the side of evil, should she or her race return for the next game.

But why? I mean all she seeked was the orb to detatch her realm from outworld and she did. Now her realm and race is free, so she might not even concern herself with outworld (and everything else) anymore.

So, now my question is, how will she be involved in the evil storyline?

My guess is that her realm would somehow have to be under threat once again.

Something weird I noticed is that Nitara's allignment is neutral but Reptile's is evil. I mean, he's basically Nitara's bitch, so shouldnt he be neutral too? Or is he just evil cuz he was loyal to Shao Kahn?

Her power up is very strong you can do 87% damage in 5 hits but to gether back in mk6 how about a family member in trouble or the dragon king threatening her realm.

she just wanted to go home, and to not cause harm, remeber, she sent cyrax home. she then herself retuned home, the reson that makes sence is that the two villans were lalfing there heads off is becose thay had put a poor human named kabal (that mavado jerk whats to make the ex-black dragon suffer, so he just nabbed his ass and made it look like he killed him) and thew him into nitara vapire relm, kabal will be turned and will come back with some niftiy new vapire powers. and suck some red dragon blood.

She has a good storyline and is a very good character, has good and powerful moves, she has very good weapons, i think her fatality, is similar to the 1st Reptile ́s fatality from MK4 and i hope they bring back Nitara.

I like the way she looks with her wings. It would be cool if she could fly in the game
