This thread is about sharing opinions of Scorpion, not about being the best Scorpion player.
So what about people's playing ability, this is character chat, not are you the best scorpion player.

So, talk about something USEFULL. It's that simple.

My question to you now is why?
What is wrong with people sharing opinions about a character in a game?
This thread can be left, or people can post in it if they want to, just like any other thread, it does not have to be useful to anybody. No thread has to be useful to anybody.

i like most people would like to learn how to better my game then to learn scorpion's family tree and other USELESS info

Well, i'm not going to argue with you anymore, It's just plain stupid.
It's very simple,
You don't want to know this "useless" info, then this is just a suggestion, don't post in the thread, it's obviously a waste of your time, so why bother.
If you do want to chat about it, then it's your choice if you want to post in it.
And I hope you do know, that some of us here, do care about some of the other things that are part of the game, the storyline, the way the characters look, how they have changed over the series of games, movie interpretations etc.
Whether you find this interesting or not, is of no concern to me.

If a person is going to make a point to start a thread about something as important as this subject then a person should take care to ensure that that thread upholds the quality of other IMPORTANT topics. This you have not done and you may think it is not important but a person should uphold that standard. Sorry if I have offended anyone.

Hey dude, timsmk is right. this discussion is about the character Scorpion, hence topic title 'CHARACTER CHAT - This week - Scorpion'.

Not flaming dude just making a general point, if you wanna talk about Scorpion combos and stuff, it's best to open up thread solely on that, like you have now done so. I know where you're coming from but this topic is a character chat on Scorpion which includes everything about him. including appearance, story, media etc.

in other thread i posted what i want to happen to scorpion, i will go and find it and post it

p.s yes we talk about scorpion's looks,storyline,and future looks, but we can also discuss combos and ways to better ourselves with him

but since the guy that asked for that shit didn't post anything, i doubt it will happen, cause if the first guy to use scorpion doesn't know unique combos then who does?(end sarcasm)

only to later learn that the elders freed him because he has a greater destiny, he is the only one powerful enough to stop the ultimate evil or some shit like that

thats my idea

Heh, yeah, I used the search thing it I noticed Scorpion wasn't done, so I thought hey why not.

Anyhow, that's a cool Scorpion story, obviously it would need explaining as the game progressed, but that's pretty cool.
Him just chasing just one person has got a little boring, even with the addition of Drahmin and Moloch.

hey, here's an idea
lets use this chat to make a small fan-fic
we will use my scorpion idea as the guideline
everyone else, feel free to add on
but please keep it consistent with scorpions story

quan chi killed his family
he hated and killed the older sub-zero brother
he is friends with younger sub-zero and has been for a long time
he only hated him in mk4 because quan chi told him that that sub-zero killed his family
moloch and drahmin are 2 onis that kept scorpion in check(think of them as the bullies that picked on freshman scorpion)
scorpion had a wife and child, and was loyal to his clan
scorpion is stronger in hell than in earth

since i made the guideline, i will let you guys start the story off(take it from his mkda ending)

While hunting down Quan Chi, his quest had bought Scorpion to Shang's Palace.
He encountered both Drahmin and Moloch.
Though he fought well, he was overpowered by them.
They tossed him up into the soulnado, in which he was ripped apart, by it's purity.

I still like scorpion but honestly... I think they destroyed him in DA. Alot of my old fav characters got a little screwed up in DA. Scorpion still has his spear but his teleport move is gone which in my oppinion cripples him. I used to lose teleporting around with him it made people stick to their block buttons. Although i like that they give sub-zero and scorpion "new" looks. I really enjoyed the way scorpion looked in mk4. He really lost something now with that bulky armor like shit he has on now. When I first got DA i used scorpion cause he was my fav guy... i've given up on him tho. He just isn't fun anymore without his teleport punch. I'm guessing they removed teleporting all together because it conflicts with the fighting engine or gives players to great an advantage. Either way I'm a little disapointed with Scorpion.

Scorpion nearly fainted, but Nitara cought him in mid fall. Immediately, memories shot into Scorpion's mind, he saw things he was never meant to see, he saw his life/death through the eyes of himself, the older sub-zero,quan chi, and raiden.
"Easy there, you have to gather strenghth, we need you to help us fight" said a young vampire boy by the name of Bulier. Bulier wasn't actually young, he was close to 200, a age that is praticaly in the teens for vampires. Although he may seem immature, he is a skilled fighter, yet even his mightest of tactics were no match for his most recent bout.
Bulier fought the former subordinate, Reptile, now know of the Dragon King. Bulier fought
bravely, but his wings were torn from his back, he spent the last week in the infirmary.
"NO NO!, MY FAMILY! MY CLAN! MY LIFE! all savagly taken from me, what justice did Sub-zero have in killing me? Damn him, and the entire world!" Scorpion cried out.
"And what would you have done? allowed him to live and kill you? he was hired to complete a mission, a mission that you were sent on as well, you both were loyal to your clans, and trained to complete missions at all cost" said a starng shadowy figure.
