scorpion and sub are the originals and hold the most interest for me and probably alot of people. when i see a new MK out i quickly wanna see what does scorpion and sub look like and what changes did they make...then i worry about new characters and such. but anyways i think he most surely be in MK6. If not then they will be taking alot from it and it will surely decide who are true fans. but it wont be the same without him though. but yes i think he'll be back...Scorpion Kicks ass. i was a Subby fan but i admit i like Scorpion more than sub in MKDA and yes i agree his fatal was the best in mkda..new and original. alot of fatals in mkda were too similar. he'll be back

True, the first thing I always want to see is what the ninjas look like. They are a real big part of the games. I think MK would lose a lot of fans if Scorpion or Sub zero were to be taken out. And it's not that they are just ninjas, they have a really cool look to them like their mask looked like it gave them extra oxygen with little hole in em (nice design). Plus a ninja spectre, (that's never been done). They've always been the coolest.

Scorpion definitely is one of the most important characters in the game in terms of popularity. I don't think that theres any chance that he won't be coming back. Remember that all MK endings are "What if?" endings which means that what happened in Scorpion's ending didn't necessarily happen. On the other hand, it could have happened and the story could go that Scorpion could come back in another physical form etc. Scorpion and Sub-Zero really are so important to the game. MK has lost Liu Kang and I don't think theres any way that they could lose Scorpion or Sub-Zero and not lose loads of fans interest.

Answering the question, I think that Scorpion looks really ace in MK:DA. The costumes are a lot more complex now than they were way back in MK1. I think that Scorpion is a lot easier to play with now than he ever was. His teleport punch was quite lethal though. You could really play with someones head a lot back then :). You guys remember his take down move from MK2? That moved looked so cool!! By the way, does anyone know what happened to that private MK Myhthologies: Scorpion project that was going on?

Didn't they say something like if mythologies sub zero was a success they would continue with them. But sadly, it wasn't a huge success.

Okay, we've pretty much estabolished that he's a fan fave and that he really should come back, and most likely will.

Next question, what about the movies?
Were you happy with the actors that played him in MK Movie, MKA, and MKC?
If not why not, should he return for MK3 movie and any suggestions on actors, special moves that should be featured, his role in the movie, any characters he should fight.

Scorpion IS very cool, and a fan fave...but he has gotten so boring. His looks, and moves are cool, but he looks the same, too heavy by the way. His fatality sucks.

I like scorpion, but hes just boring now...I havent even played MKDA with him!! Only to do some combos and a fatality.

scorpion is by far the best chaarcter in mortal kombat. he has always had the perfect blend of offense and defense. his only real weakness is his combos arent that damaging.

and btw, why did you put no flaming as a rule? no offense or anyhing, but you cant stop people from flaming.

Scorpion is the best mkcharacter/fighter of mk or any fighting game for that matter. enuff said.
dont like the 2nd costume in mkda, but the 1st one rocks.
Scorpion should stay with the series all the way.
The future for scorpion, i'd like a bit more of a twist to his storyline, i.e his wife coming back as quan chi's protector or something. or even scorpion gaining allies while fighting Oni and Quan chi, in the form of the lin kuei, i.e Sub-Zero. if those two team up, they'll kick everyone's ass.
After all they both hate Quan Chi.

Scorpion rules. I like his fighting styles in MK: DA, additionally, I really like his character design in MK: DA, truly the best incarnation of him yet. He looks great and plays great. He's a character that really "stands out" in the battle arena, he really has this "presence" about him that some of the other fighters lack.

Okay, but do you think, that if they keep bringing him back, that he might lose some of his sparkle? I mean he just keeps chasin Quan Chi, his storyline needs to have a bit more dazzle after this.
If he catches Quan Chi and kills him, then it means Quan will be dropped out of the storyline. Is that a good thing?

Well, so far, all he has been doing in the MK storyline is chasing down someone whom he believes murdered his family, first Subzero and now Quan Chi(whom turns out was the real murderer). I do believe they need to make his storyline more interesting, add something more to it. I think they could because he is inadvertedly on the side of Good, aiding Earth's warriors, since he is after the same evil that they are.

scorpion hey - best character in all the games, dont like how they took away his other moves for mkda but i love his backflip kick thing, his costumes are by far the best costumes to appear in any mk game, although i dont know which one i prefer, his fatality is cool in this game.

mk movie - the character developement in this film is just right considering what they could do with him, he was dangerous and skilled fighter but... got 'killed' by cage - bummer
mka - not hated but prefered him in mk movie 1 in mka his appearance is brief and not like scorpion (he shouldnt have been working for kahn) and his feud with sub zero was never truly established

mkc - didnt watch

mkdotr - even though the cartoon wasnt good i must admit i must praise the writers of the cartoon on their excellent handling of scorpion - by far the best portrayel of him from any tv show.

MK movie i thought scorpion was a good charector but why was he allied with sub zero? i thought they were enemies. But overall he was cool in the film.

MKA he was crap he looked stupid he fought like a wuss and got his ass kicked throughout most of his scenes. Plus where did the two spears come from i thought he had one.

MKC i thought this was where he was best. He had the right story against sub zero. He looked pretty cool and had all of the right moves from the games.

when u first see scorpion and sub zero in the first mk movie shang tsung says 'the deadliest of enemies but slaves to my power' or something meaning that they were being controlled by him and so werent fighting with eachother

MK1 Game- Scorpion was cool and simple in the first game. I liked him, although I didn't like the fact that the spear didn't come out of his hand in this game.
MKII Game- Scorpion looked awsome here, with his BMX mask, empty eyes... pretty cool.
UMK3- Ermac...I mean, Rain... Uh, I mean SubZero...that is, Smoke... er.. I mean Chameleon... wait, wait, it's Noob Saib... bah! Forget it!
MK4 - He looked very cool in MK4, but too simple, and almost no changes from UMK3.
MKDA- Awsome looks(although a bit heavy) and moves(damn, that flip kick is so fine!) . His ending was pretty cool, and the fatality was...well, diferent then the toasty one, which is good.

movies/tv
MKMovie- He just looked so FRIGGIN AWSOME in the first movie. He was the coolest ninja after Reptile, and his spear was da shit!!! Like a mechanical serpent, just kickass. (Alot better then the MKA one). They could've went deeper on his storyline, but oh well.
MKA- He looked too thin and weak. His mask was too tight, and so was the rest of his costume. Two badly animated serpents? yeah, right. He had such a small part in the movie... in the end, you dont even remember seeing Scorp. tsc tsc.
MKC- The series were absolutely awsome, but I'm afraid Scorp didn't keep up. Everytime he fought, he got his ass kicked, but at least he looked really awsome.

You know that feeling that you have when something comes out and you find out about it? Next, You find yourself kinda having a certain respect or appreciation for that thing. Then, everyone starts to feel that way about that thing and even though you still may love it, you find yourself thinking, " Man, I remember when he wasn't really that popular, Now my guy is everybody else's guy." For me, the time has come to say, Scorpion ain't about nothing, He may be good and maybe, just maybe, he is the best player in the game. Congratulations to all of you who claim how good you are with him and how great he is. I bet you all that you take a good scorpion player and a my little brother with anybody, say somebody like Movado, and straight up embarass You. My point is this, most of you can't play this game very well and you probably use the guy as a crutch for your own inadequacies. I always wanted to say that. It almost sounds funny. If you guys really want to get good with the man, someone should make a good Scorpion FAQ with the combos AND fighting strategy guide for him. Until then, it's sad to say that everybody in America and the rest of the world has come up with this sorry, storyboard having, sequence of posts is real sad. Thank you and good night.

P.S. I know some of you are Great MK players and continue to improve on all aspects of the game. I know some of ya'll Randomed your fighters in previous editions of the game to make it intresting and more fun. Cuz that's what it's all about, and if You're one of these types, take no offense. For the rest of the pack, keep hobbling on your crutches.
