Well, we have to remember, this is going to be rated T for Teen, so while there may be blood, the really gory stuff is going to be in the past...so probably no skull crushing or anything like that.
A major factor to this reason has to do with the DC characters.
1. The heroes wouldn't normally finish a character off like an MK character would
2. DC fans would probably scream bloody murder if their characters had their insides taken out.
So what can we expect? I think we will expect a lot of finishers where "a person COULD have died, but MAYBE he survived..."
Expect a lot of falling. A lot of "knocking the opponent off a cliff and watching him fall out of sight" type of deal, or off a bridge into some rocky whitewater rapids, or perhaps even a brutality combo-type finisher.
I'm pretty sure they are going to go in either of those directions, or all.

Since there have been an abundance of finisher threads created I'm going to sticky this in an attempt to keep this forum organized.

Flash will have Kabal's spinning top trick. He will also have teleportations.
Batman will have Tanya's batterangs if not Tonya's weapons.
Superman will have the stomach punch combos.

I'm just imaging it will be Super Heroes with MK moves. It will happen...

The jokers laughing gas he would spray his opponent and he would just burst out laughing and fall on the floor laughing to no end or the joker could get out his knife and carve a smile into his opponents face or chest because he wouldnt be able to use it on ninjas faces or it would be hilarious if he went up to a ninja and so that he couldnt carve one his face and laughs then looks at his chest and craves it out but he would funny and CRAZY!!!!!!!!

Joker should beat his opponents to death with a crowbar. Like he did with Jason Todd, the first Robin.

I think that WonderWoman should have Shao Kahns Shield but they should call it WonderShield.I think that The Green Lantern(If hes in it)Will have Rains super roundhouse kick but call it greenhouse kick.Superman should be cut from his super invincablity,and he should be given a freeze move or a spear move but nothing comes out and he just do a superman spear or a superman frezze

if Ermac is in it, I want to see him throw the enemy into the horizion with his telekinesis and hear them screaming all the way. Sub Zero: gotta do his deep freeze uppercut. Scorpion: TOASTY!

Raiden: He punches the opponent in the face, then he grabs the opponent's head andlifts them off the ground. Then he sends a massive lightning charge through the opponent's body...He then drops them, and they have really nasty burns and charred skin...

Scorpion: He punches the opponent and they fly away, he then reels them back in with his spear and continues this cycle..After a little bit, he punches them in the air and spears him, then slams the opponent violently on the ground...

Sub-Zero: He freezes the opponent then he crushes their body, but nothing but chunks of ice hit the ground...

Superman: He grabs the opponent by the neck, he flies into the air, flies at hyperspeed downward, then violently slams the opponent into the ground...Creating a huge crater in the ground

Lobo: He throws the opponent into the air, pulls out a machine-gun, then gats up the opponent while they're in midair...After a while, they plummet towards the ground full of bulletholes...

Green Lantern: He creates a giant fist with his ring, that slams the opponent towards the ground, crushing them under the weight of the giant hand.

Most of your "FINISHER" are too violent for this game your talking about them getting killed but I dont think thats gonna be the case in this game most lightly theirs gonna be a few combos and the guy will hit the ground thats it but i think some of predictions could be in the gam.

MK

Sub-Zero; Internal Melt- Subby throws his ice into his victims body. The ice then melts along with some organs and the bones become brittle. The vic vomits out blood, then crumbles to the ground.

Scorpion; Branded- Scorpion throws his spear which then the cord wraps tightly around the opponent. The cord then becomes extremely hot that it brands the vic.

DC

Batman; Suffocation- Batman extracts his batwings then plunges infront of his opponent. He then wraps his wings around his foe tightly, which you can see the face structer. Batman then expands his wings and the vic drops to the ground while looking purple in the face.

Superman; Fists of Rage- His fists start to glow with power, then punishes his opponent to a bloody pulp (vics face cut and bruised), Superman then goes behind his opponent and plows the vic in the spine. The vic's upper torso goes limp falling backwards (lower torso still standing up right.).

Scorpion: Sends spear through opponent, pulls them in, strikes their faces with heavy blows leaving bruises, kicks them backwards and pulls spear out, sends spear again wrapping around their necks and pulls them behind him with a loud crack and the opponent is limp on the ground. {maybe they do a lil spin effect in the air before hitting ground}

Sub Zero: Grabs opponent and shoves his hand to their face. Starts to freeze them from the inside out. When he finishes they're frozen in place and a bluish color with blood leaking out of their eyes and/or mouths. Falls over with a cracking sound effect.

Batman: Stabs with Batarang, kicks legs out from under them and quickly plants batarang in their chest.

Superman: Fires heat blast at them, singing their suit and leaving a burn mark, picks them up and slams their face in the ground leaving bruises, tosses them into the air and flies up, grabs them and holds them up and when he comes down does a back-breaker on them by throwing them to the ground and landing on their back.

Well, for Shao Kahn, I think his finishing move should be his fatality from Shaolin Monks. One blow with his hammer, and it kills them. It really made a statement about his character, and wasn't gory in the slightest.

*Only if he is in the game, MKvsDC* - Reptile; Acid Mist- Rep is across the screen and does his original acid pit. Just half screen away it explodes into mist. Most of the mist is gone but the rest made burns on various parts of the vic's body.

BATMAN:

Throws a batarang around an opponent and pulls the string spinning them like a top. Then he uses his bat torch to blast away the skin of his opponent. When the opponent stops spinning like a top, Batman tears off the opponent's torso, tosses it to the ground and boots off the opponent's head!... Fatality!

SUPERMAN:

Grabs his opponent and flies the opponent high above the stage. He spins around, and releases the opponent to have them fly off into the sun, BUT before the sun, Mercury smashes into the opponent... Fatality!

THE JOKER:

He throws his playing cards at the opponent, connecting with each joint. Then he walks over, and uses two daggers to slice open his opponet's mouth. Joker steps away, the opponent's jaw falls open and creates a giant smile... Fatality!

MR. FREEZE:

Uses his freeze ray to simply freeze his opponent's legs, but nothing else. He then uses his domed helmet to bash his opponet's head, spilling blood everywhere. He then uses a low kick to shatter his opponent's legs before stepping on his opponent's head... Fatality!

THE FLASH:

I have a feeling that the Flash will run so fast in circles around his opponent that when he's done, there will be nothing left but a skeleton that looks dizzy then crumbles... Fatality!

CAT WOMAN:

She will claw off her opponent's arms in one quick swoop. The opponent will then try to stagger away, but she will pull out her whip and snap it. The whip will lash around her opponent's neck and she will pop it off violently with a gush of blood. Then she will snuggle with her cute cat Isis... Fatality!

THE PENGUIN:

He will pull ot a charming umbrella that will become a child's mobile and whirl above his head. Then he will have his opponent in a daze admiring it, before he lowers the umbrella and shoots a harpoon that will go through his opponet's chest. He will pull on the rope of the harpoon and yank out his opponent's beating heart... Fatality!

LEX LUTHOR:

Missiles... lots of missiles that come and blow up the stage... Fatality!

LOUIS LANE:

She will get in trouble somehow, and the losing opponent is forced to save her, but dies trying... Fatality!

JIMMY OLSON:

He will take a photo of his opponent, then the photo will appear on the screen of hordes of skeletons eating the opponent. When the scene cuts back to the fighting area, there will be what is left of Jimmy's opponents.


Does anyone want me to keep going with these fatalities.... Throw me some DC names and I'll go from there. These are really all that I know of.

These are said to be finishers, and not "fatalities". Your idea's are great but, they won't comply.

I am still going to go with Fatalities and not Finishers, cause I know when it's all said and done... Fatalities are better and everyone knows it!

SCARECROW

He will spray some mist on his opponents. They will begin to choke violently, coughing up blood, before they start to run away. The opponent turns around in fear, drops to their hands and knees and begins swatting at their own body! The opponent then bashes their head against the ground several times... Fatality! Then a bunch of spiders crawl out!

WONDER WOMAN

She lassoes her opponent and puts her foot on her opponent's chest. She pulls the rope and her opponent's head inflates like a balloon with each tug of the rope. Eventually she tugs so hard that her opponent's head explodes!... Fatality!

SUPER GIRL

She starts by giving her opponent a fierce roundhouse kick to the head. The opponent drops to the ground and she flies off into the air. Then after a brief few second wait, a satellite dropps from the sky onto the opponent... Fatality! Then Super girl flies back onto the screen and stands on the satellite.

POISON IVY

She walks over to her dazed opponent and gives a kiss. The opponent starts holding their stomach and screaming, before coughing up blood. Then the stomach bursts open revealing a plant and vines, the plat takes root in the ground and a flower pops out of the opponent's mouth, making it look like the person was impaled by a plant. Then the thorns come out fo the plant... Fatality!

We all love our fatalities and I agree with you. Unfortunately were getting finishers!

I'm thinking that most of the MK characters can have less graphic versions of many of their old finishers.

To the person that thought MK characters can have non graphic versions of their fatalities as finishers:

SUB-ZERO

He leaps over his opponent, snatches his opponent's neck and begins to pull! Instead of pulling out a spine, he pulls out a cute and cuddly bunny... Finisher!

SCORPION

He tears off his ninja mask to reveal his face underneath, then spits a giant glob down to the ground! From the glob grows a giant flower!... Finisher!

SONYA BLADE

She leans into her opponent and gives a kiss on the lips. The opponent begins to get smitten and a heart appears over their head... Finisher!

JOHNNY CAGE

He quickly ducks down and shoots his fist up! Not for an uppercut, but to give his opponent an autographed picture!... Finnisher!

RAIDEN

He raises his hands to his opponents head and holds them up. Surges of electricity go through his opponent. When all is said and done, the opponent gets put down and screams "I have been healed!"... Finisher!

QUAN CHI

He chants his green necromancy down to the ground and a pair of big green skulls rise out. Then four more skulls appear over them! He plays the skulls like drums and his opponent begins to dance!... Finisher!

MILEENA

She quickly undoes her top and flashes her opponent. The opponent feels faint and falls over!... Finisher!
