I know that Fujin isn't in Mortal Kombat Deception but I think they wanted to put him in. If you're watching the Mortal Kombat Armageddon's characters picture (you know that wallpaper that has all the characters on), Fujin, Kobra and the Dragon King have a lot of likeness. Watch these pictures:

Actually they're faces have a likeness. Kobra's face was used only in Mortal Kombat Deception becouse MKDA's and MKA's character's dont have a likness for every character(Exept for Fujin).
And a close resemblance is this:

Both of the character's have an exact same scar.I think that's why they used the same character for 2 characters.

I believe what happened was that they were originally going to put Fujin in the game, which was the meaning of Raiden blowing himself up in the intro.

Fans wanted Raiden though, so they put him in as 'Dark' Raiden.

Fujin was going to be in Deception but they figured it would upset fans so they kept Raiden instead since people tend to like him more than Fujin.

fujin and stryker is in the chest in the kazbo in earthrealm when u first start a new game u will open a few more chest before the unlockable one forms
what are you saying and whats a kazbo?

the place in earthrealm close to the portal the white stand when u first get all of the kamadous go back to the white stand and medataite a for a while yhe chest has fujin and striker in it my friend told me about

I hate to break it to you, but your friend is a liar.
There are no more unlockable characters in the game. All the characters that are in the game have been discovered, and no more of them exist.
