Why is it that whenever you pull your ethernet cable from the console, you're awarded a loss, and yet when your opponent disconnects, you don't the win, and they don't get the loss?!

It's completely unfair to be beating somebody, only for them to disconnect, leaving you without the win, and them without the loss.

Keep track of the people who pull and quit and post there scrub names. I don't play sore losers, so I usually avoid thos ppl.

Hehe whenever someone with 73864 wins and no losses challenges me to a match I know what’s coming.......
But I get a strange level of amusement if I actually win a round (especially when I am playing as Rain and they are plying as some pumped up KK) and they do that strange disconnect thing so they won’t get the loss...

Noob like me makes a Pro pull the plug, whos the loser now! Muahahahaha

But one quick question,
What about when my oponent starts using those glitch 100% combos?
Is it bad form for me to press start and select quit match?
Or should I take my 100% combo beating and then select no for the rematch?
confused

Good question.

I usually just pay attention to the frames and see if I can wiggle out first. Likely I can't so, I just give them that one. Then I just try not to give the opportunity to them again by avoiding a circumstance that would allow them to do it over again.

Stay on the ground, know when to block ect...

I never disconnect though. I'd feel dirtier than they are for pulling the infinite, when essentially, they're the jagoff in that situation.

sry if that doesn't really answer the question, I didn't really intend to.

Doh!
I thought if I selected quit match in the start menu they would still get the win, and I wouden't have to sit through 20 seconds of me getting glitch air kicked.

Ill take my beating with a smile next time, and take the high road. smile

I will quit if someone is using a code like infinite life, or one hit victory. I have been infinite'd once by a kak'er, but I didn't quit, but I also rematched him and, he was unable to do it again because I played it smart. I was thinking about not rematching his cheese, but I did notice it was very difficult for him to do, so I figured it would be hard for him to pull it off twice.
