Red.. you got your ass kicked BAD. The biggest reason why was because you kept spamming Kabals Dash like it was candy. That.. and very poor defense.

MKF kept repeatably doing 13444 with Jerek and Ermac.... You could have parryied beween 1 and 3, or 3 and 4 with ease.

You didn't, and then sometimes you would let go of the block button in the middle between those combos. He would free throw you everytime.

Oh.. and never rely on 3,3. See what happens when you do ? The other persons lag will often fuck you over.

Scorp losing to Ermac ? Damn... thats embarrasing.

You did somewhat decent... but sorry to say, but MKF is much better than you.

I've invested too much time lately reading shitty posts and watching mirror matches. So get to the point and post the scores.

There were 14 matches....it was a first to 10....the score was 10-4 guys....I think a wiseman once predicted this outcome. Also AS PREDICTED Red is coming up with excuses. I looked at the vids. There was NOTHING out of the ordinary there. and that there was CERTAINLY nothing that would have made for a 6 match change. MKF started off a bit timid...but once he realized he was better than you....he OWNED you. My one question to both was the character selection. I expected more Jarek from MKF (Red had NO answer) and I expected more Bo from Red. Kabal is CLEARLY not your best character....why did you keep pickin him Red. Even though Scorp lost...you probably should have used him more. Red also...why dont you MAN UP and say GG MKFRex

and yes his lag made 33 not work.

and he ducked all very unduckable fts. i mean how can u duck u2 ft on wall with kabal, its not possible at all.

i relay on the dash???? hell yeah im going to use the dash when hes useing moves that arent safe.

dont no how ps2 land works, but u2 is very very punishable. count how many times i guess right blockable u2, and he was 100% safe. i mean he even blcoked f3 as a counter, i won that match but its the point.

and the repated u2, i was tapping down, still got hit.


u say i got my ass kicked, i read him fine, my defense was great, but its point less when i guess right and he blocked my counter. so if i get my damage on his spaming of unsafe moves how does the games turn out.


as far as the dashes, its called dk into dash, which none landed.

my fav was use of 4 with kabal as anti air, and not getting the trade off.

I hated the way you guys used Kabal because I think you both whored out the hooks.

I think the best rule is to limit how many times a character could be used in a series. I would say 2 max. Now, that's a real series.

match 3 he was lagging for you bad, but you won

match 4 same as match 3, you would have won but you lost due to his lag

match 5 another blown game due to lag, although the connection was better then the last 2

match 6 was laggy for both, match shouldnt even be considered a match, and thats sad because you live next to each other but picking havik vs mavado is also not very smart and 10 out of 10 times mavado kills havik

match 7 definitly bullshit with mkf parrying before his recovery frames are done since game 1, you cannot parry that fast after a lift. another blown game due to lag. 3rd round was also blown due to lag, red cant even sidestep throw him after a hellfire with scorp. so far, this series is the garbage of online play

match 8 picking havik vs kabal is just dumb, 10 out of 10 times kabal kills havik

match 9 was laggy for both

match 10 red blew it for himself, he should of went for 33 both times he caught him, and instead paid for it. then he just played horrible 2nd round, however, the lag seriously favors mkf so theres no point in really discussing this match further

match 11, red is still playing shitty, he was however costed another match by a missed combo due to lag, and mkf is lagging pretty bad first round in this match as well, you can see the familiar "crazy jumps" as theyre referred to.

match 12 mkf lagging again, red is getting that fake blockstun from lag by mkf's u2, u2 DOES NOT HAVE BLOCKSTUN, thats almost a second delay right there for red. these matches are horrible and i never want to see these 2 fight again, every game is the same, mkf's characters are moving twice as fast as reds, sometimes its bad for both of them, but red is getting costed obviously alot more up to this point. hes still not playing too goo though, so that doesnt help but i understand lag dictates how you play. thats why theres no point in online.

match 13 too laggy to even call, pretty much sums up this entire wasteful series and game online. oh wait!! it gets better 3rd round. WHO CARES. this match doesnt even count as far as im concerned. maybe mkf should try hosting and seeing if its better. this is almost as bad as me and versa

match 14 was probably the worst lag of them all, mkf is recovering in half the time red is, hes hitting him with u2 and not even moving in, red has no priority with him, he does db 2 and mkf does 4 and it 4 got the priority, very sad stuff right here


all in all, i enjoyed your series, its been a while since i seen a series of mka, lets just hope the next time you guys play, its mkd, 2 years ago bo vs dai

Actually, I only play that way with certain players...I know Red doesn't parry that often that's why I did that. When I play parry whores I play a lot differently...trust me.

GG's btw last night. FTR, I was feeling some lag too but not nearly as bad as when I played pig. There were some matches that were unbearably annoying but I fought thru it.

In nearly every match that you played... out of random you would just do a dash and you got punished for.

Deep Kicks rely on a clean connection. You should have just manned up, and fought him with skill. Relying on glitches isnt the way to do shit.

Check, it sounds to me that you're trying justify why Red lost due to "lag" come on? lol everyone knows at this point that lag fucks up everyone at some point in this game, yet they still play it online...the lag card is getting kind of old now and always comes up with Red.

I'll admit at times when I played pig and lost, I felt lag fucked me over but in the end he still won none the less in MKA anyway. So, you have to adjust or simply don't play.

Now, last night I also have proof and my own vids of the matches and believe me I had as much lag as him if not worse.

There were times when I recoved and held block yet his dash went right thru it somehow....

Let's put it this way check, his kabal jk into dash was literally flying on my screen LOL like superman... at times as in a dash in mid air or a diagonal dash. He was relying on glitches/ flaws in the game to get an edge and it failed. That's why another reason why I don't mess around and try to get fancy with that shit online. I know not everyones connections is the same therefore I don't want to mess around if something doesn't connect. I just stick to the classic turtling ground game. Play it safe.

Second you want to talk about lag playing a role I should have that second Fujin vs. Kabal match but some how he got near me and took me out of the air which was funny because I was jumping away from him...

The Ermac vs. Scorpion match...I came back, I should have lost that match but some how I won. I didn't see much lag in that match, the worst one for me anyway was that second Fujin/ Kabal match. He was all over the place and I'm sure I was god knows where on his screen therefore it's even as far as lag messing up the both of us.

The game just doesn't play that well online, therefore that on top of the fact that not everyones connections are the same lag will happen more often the not. Now in MKD same outcomes, I play Red, I'll win he'll scream lag, lag, lag and not only with me but with just about everyone else.

And we all know that MKD played much better then MKD does, agreed? I rest my case.

Red...notice how MKF said GG to you...I suggest you do the same. Congrats MKF this was an important victory for you. As far as I am concerned you have NOTHING to prove anymore.

Now as far as the lag non-sense...please stop. Sometimes lag makes matches unplayable. That was NOT the case in this series. Also the Kabal play was boing both of you should have mixed in D4 especially after his plant kick...but that neither here nor there.

Its funny Red was trying to expose MKF as a fraud and now it is Red who looks like a fraud. To lose 10-4 and blame it on lag. EVEN if it was true I would be embarrassed to say that. You should have said..."lets do it again...I feel that the results would be different"

Well, I definitely mixed up the 50/50 more then he did lol. He was going for the Ac, 33 the fancy shit. I decided to play it safe with turtling, ground game and FT's only...I'm sure you noticed I don't even like doing basic air combos... not my style.

When I got near him I did 50/50 mix ups as much as possible among a tight defense.

I have no problem greeting Red GG's, as long as the lag excuse it ditched since I felt it too BELIEVE me I'm did. As you said mav, lag effects EVERYONE who plays this game, you have to either adapt or don't play at all. My motto.

Yeah you are right about that last statement for sure RED.

I do think MKF and RED had good games. They weren't boring to watch. They were good games. I realize there is lag in games and then there is lag that is almost unbearable. Truth is though and this goes to you to Check, that online play will most likely have lag for a quite a while so you must adapt to that lag and the disadvantages you will receive. Unfortunately, I am not good enough yet to practice what I preach. I am at the level where I can only see 2 strategies ahead, better than 1 I suppose. Bottom line!! Great fucking games and the score was 10-4. Who cares, you two played now and I think this drops everything for both of you! Another thing that you kept doing that fucked you over red was you continuously would attempt to do the 3,3 air cancel when you could have just went for a simple combo for a simple win. If you fuck up on that 3,3 which I saw you do plenty of times you are pretty much a sitting duck.
