There is always something you can do to save the day.. and thats where adapting takes place.

Free throws are very essential.. and should always be used. However... if under certain circumstances it isnt... find a way around it.

My connection sucks only in red's and any of his boys views, yet funny when I play alex, malone etc none of those guys ever mention it....

Surely you're aware they're as respectable as anyone, and I don't have dial up, dial up is AOL, AOL wouldn't even be able to run anything online via gaming consoles...

And what you said earlier concerning the glitch free game, I'm one of the few players that can play very well as you've seen without any hard glitches.

Yeah, I'll take easy FT's but that's and I can easily play without those.

Someone like Red who relies on every flaw in the game would be in serious trouble if he had to play with "rules" such as no 33, ac or even FT's.

Now, it's just a scenario here but say there was a "glitch free" tournament I know I'd do VERY well in it unlike some other players who can't win without abusing a flaw, not good at all if you ask me.

You're entitled your opinion, but believe me I've been playing live for 4 +years now I've never heard once until now that someone says my connection really sucks when in reality they just have to accept their loses just like anyone does.

To red, on the pillar thing no I don't consider it cheesy other then running down the clock not at all. You were fortunate you had that pillar there I will say that, but I'm fine with it given the outcome.

I probably live a lot farther then that Red, you are out in L.I. I live out in S.I.

I have relatives out there, it takes at least 2 and half+ hours(depending on traffic conditions) just to get out there from S.I.

Real pain in the ass I must say, if you ever come out to S.I. there's a place called Video Game Arena. The same place where gerchap, stretch, pig, wu and myself all met and played.

Fun place, 6 for one hour and 10 for 2 hours. It's worth it though, you can pick any games you want on plasma screen tvs. Very nice I must say.

BTW, does anyone here also play or feels they're good in wii sports?

Bars are starting to have tournaments near me and happy hours, so if you feel you have what it takes I'm game.

Baseball, Bowling or Tennis I'm pro level plus.

Anyway, yeah sure I'm down win or lose I enjoy playing new players PS2/Xbox that I never played before.

Good luck playing with the 360 controller, I don't like that one either I play with the xbox one controller. For UMK3 it's not bad(even though you jump sometimes when you don't want to) but my friend has a 360 and we played some MKA on it, I didn't like it that much and I couldn't buffer certain moves like I normally do with the xbox one controller.

I'm sure they have converters for the 360 though.

I'm going to say this: If you rest your game on 33 AND Jump kick combos then you're not very good at all. If you need 33 and that jump kick shit to win then you blow because offline it doesn't work and everyone isn't as good as they tyhink they are offline because half the shit I and everyone else does is bs offline.

Did you guys know Kitana's combo and other characters combos that you can start blocking in the middle of online works the way it should offline? For exmaple if Kitanta fan combo hits first hit you can still hold block and it will block online for hits 2 and 3...offline the combo works right.

My point is 33 and jump kick combos are BS because they work due to lag.
Yet so does half the other shit we all do as far as recovery times and stuff goes.

If you play online you get lag. If you choose to play, stfu. You can't simply cry lag lag lag everytime you lose. It's a part of MKA online.

When you block U+2 against Kabal or Mavado's hookswords it's supposed to be a free throw. Anyways they were decent fights I guess. But Red I got one thing to ask you. All XBOX controllers are garbage for fighting games. How the fuck are you supposed to do Tanya's air fireball with that retarded one-button d-pad? It's hard to do a quarter circle in the air with that stupid button.

mav, we have been sayign since the first month of this game online means nothing, its to laggy.

u should play the cpu on max offline, and see how safe shit is online thats not even close offline.

u cant call a game legit thats can be so one sided.

as good as umk3 runs, its still not close to as legit as playing on a actuall arcade game is.

even if the 2 systems come from the same line in the same house , there is a little bit of lag.

so it in impossible to say any online game is legit. thats why all real touns are played in person. there will never be a real real online tourn for a fighting game.
