I don't understand why JTF would punish everybody for something that was supposed to be between you and him, I think it sucks because I go there everyday (you know me as B W1zZ meso), anyways I dont agree with him shutting down the entire site just because everyone seemed to follow your ideals instead of his, but I guess i'll be around here until the site opens back up, if it even does

WTF is going on here? I didn't even know you guys still play the game. Anyway, even with my differences with the foundation of MKC, pulling the plug is kind of disrespectful to all the users and a little extreme. I hope it gets resolved soon though but ONLY for the users sake.

Basically MEsoFly made a post on MKC talkin about how JTF likes to start fights for no reason, JTF closes the thread and silences Meso from the shoutbox, then everyone else thought that was some bullshit and a few others started beefing with JTF even one of the admins, and that led to him just closing the site completely, just to sum it up.

Yeah I hope it gets resolved since I go there frequently and use the site for matchmaking with other users and posting my gameplay videos, but if not I have no problem going elsewhere.

If it isn't, I need you all to know that this kind of irrational reaction in closing down the site, even if it's just temporarily was almost inevitable. The signs were there all along and it was only a matter of time before something as stupid as what you've described led to this situation.

I do honestly hope it gets resolved somehow (again because the users deserve better), but don't ever trust JTF with the keys to your anything on the web. He'd always abuse it!

I think it could have been resolved in a less extreme way, even just letting meso have his netherrealm thread would probably have been more effective. But hey he owns the website so he can do whatever he wants to it. I doubt anyone from MKC is going to be happy about it, I like going to that website and I think it sucks because the community is great.

It wasn't a nether realm thread. It was a thread where i only expressed my feelings in a respectful way.

I asked it be moved to the nether realm only out of respect for the site.

JTF saw it differently and closed it after insulting me. Then i asked why he insulted me in the shout box...then i was silenced.

People saw what he did as irrational and called him on it. Only then did he threaten to close the site. It will probably open up again in a day with a big post far all to see.

Then how is it really "better"? I always consider "better" the site that is actually ran in a way that ensures people are treated as fairly as possible and isn't ran by a spaz... but that's just me of course.

I preferred MKC over this site because of the content and I had a feel for the site and the community, plus it was easy for me to find others to play on XBL, speaking of which if anyone wants to play MKA my gamertag on XBL is B W1zZ

lol...of course it is all personal opinion. I can hear what you are saying...really that does make a ton of sense. The features are what i was implying. Like the arcade, the shoutbox, etc.

that is what i meant about the site being better. But now the inability to state my opinions is a common theme on both sites.

But this is not about you guys. you do your thing and it works for you. I know for a fact you are more reasonable than JTF. But when Bobby Blaze was announced as the site admin...JTF was supposed to take a back seat to him but that is not what happened.

JTF is trying too hard to control the site. That is what drove us away from here in the first place.

Back then a thread like this would have been closed already. But I have no complaints about MKO right now.

I don't think anyone that truly knows the nature of the owner is actually surprised by this. I believe in life, you have to do everything (especially if you're a figure of authority) with high integrity and respect for all those around you. That has never been the case with owner. Yes, he created a beautiful website, nice applications and some nice mini games but that's not enough to class it as great. The core was built on false foundation. If you have a great job, with company car and nice package but your manager is b!tch by nature and you have to deal with him daily, it'd only be a matter of time before you call it quit.

The point is this, JTF sucks as a person. He is actually a compulsive/obsessive psycho. I have given him the benefit of a doubt on so many occasions but he always amazed me with his constant reference for events in Mortal Kombat as the baseline for most of his arguments coupled with GROSS lies (brother has cancer and shit!). I'm pretty sure the 'index.htm' file on MKC will eventually be put back in place but one thing will always remain constant - You can't reason with JTF and for that reason I will not be associated with anything he produces.

On the subject of which site is better - I really don't care about the aesthetics or the feel. What I care about is my ability to be free to express my opinion within the boundaries of the rules by the community I am part of. You have to respect the rules wherever you go. But no one person should keep bending the rules because they feel it's their property and they can do whatever they want. A community should not be structured that way.

The problem is, JTF needs to step down, get off my back and let me run the site like we oringally agreed then we wont have these problems. JTF has issues with way too many people and thats when bad things happen.

He opened the site to satisfy his thirst for total control and to be worshiped for it. Not to serve the community!

Yea i kinda figured that. Like Bobby said this shit has got to change or shit like this will keep on happening. He needs to just let you handle things Bobby.
