So Meso called JTF out and he closed the entire site? I don't understand... why didn't he just ban Meso? Not that he should have... But what? Did a bunch of people jump on his ass or something?

At first they were talking about lag, it started to get heated, so JTF said to drop it and he left. Fly made a post about it after jtf left, after jtf replied in the thread he closed it. several members including jtf were discussing the while mater (the arguement and closing the thread), things started to get heated, shortly after, zippo!!! sites down

I will say, jtf said many times to fly and everyone else to drop it. everyone else that was in the arguement did actually, stuck their nose in the whole issue. I'm not necessarily saying jtf was totally right in what he did...

but jus so people know more of the story then what i've seen posted.

Sadly that would never work because no matter what its still his site. He is always going to have power. The change needs to come from him. What bothered me about the whole situation was the fact that he flamed mesofly to have the last word and then closed the thread, and when mesofly did try and reply in the shoutbox he got silenced. Another thing is this is over a dispute about mk. When mkvsdc comes out there is going to be alot of activity and how many times is this going to happen? When you refuse to play people for certain reasons people are not going to like it. Much similar to what has been going on with MKF for the past 3 years.

I was permenantly banned a few days ago from MKC because I posted in the Xbox GGS thread on response to Lefty's -"How do I beat Jtf" so I simply said, "Use sareena" then he responds " Your Sareena is rubbish and always loses against me." and then finding that extremely funny I remind him about the 10-0 beating I gave his Drahmin using my Sareena even using his shitty 'no cheat/glitch rule' THEN he has the nerve to say I lied and made that up LOL, wow at that point I just lost all the respect and I had for JTF and just told him straight up to not lie and fuck off with me and everything will be cool, a second later he deletes all of the posts and permanently bans me secretly... typical. Btw this is REO. I'm glad to be at MKO now.

I was confused ever since I got home from school why I couldn't get on MKC, but at least now I finally know why.

I wasn't there to enjoy the arguments so now I wasted a bunch of time waiting for a site that I thought was being updated (lol). I should be pissed off the most! lol.

Man, I think for like a minute or two JTF took MKC off the internet completely because when I tried to get on the "this website doesn't exist" page popped up. I was like "what the fuck?"

If anything I think Bobby Blaze should run the site, he isn't stuck up and is actually fair.

If MKC does get back up I hope I can come back and if I do I assure you guys I won't even see JTF as an existant member there, I'll just say my peace and get on with my life, I'm tired of all this retarded online drama, we all just want to play MK and enjoy the community.

I tried to be respectful in my thread i made but i was insulted. After he closed the thread I tried to reason with him again in the shout box (mistake). Then i was silenced. After that many people were on his back about why he did what he did. He then continued to insult me and that made it worse. Then he insulted Azuro, and Rippa, and Blaze. Then he banned Rippa from the s.b. Then he was mocking pig and insulting everyone and said "i should shut this place down."

then arguments continued and then the site actually did go down. all because i called him out. If he doesn't delete my thread you all could read it and see the insults in true form.

I expect he is getting rid of all the evidence and will not let me back on the site. So take my word for all the things i am saying cause he might deny it all.

I think you guys have been in denial about this dude since the beginning of this whole shit. And yes, Fly, he would delete all the shit and come up with a watertight story e.g. someone set the hard disk on fire.... The dude once banned me, then cloned my account and sent out an apology to himself under my name. Then he replied to himself under different names. Now that's deep!

If you guys ever buy any of his bs after this incident, I would seriously question the rationale behind your choice to believe anything he says.

Last week I noticed JTF ignoring my posts in the ggs thread, so I asked him if he was ignoring me. He responded by ignoring me again. So I sent him a PM asking what the hell I did to him. Turns out he was upset about my complaining about the lag and what a POS MKA is. But instead of saying something to me about it, he completely ignored me. Now I see that that was a prefereable solution than the one he served up to Meso.

I like the MKC site as well, and I'll be there if that's where everyone is going to be posting...but the integrity of the site is now lost to me. I'd rather everyone stay here even if MKC comes back up. It's seriously tainted now. Over time though it will joked about and laughed off as one crazy event in the life of MKC. But right now I feel that it should stay closed down if this is the kind of shit that's going to happen.

I do like MKC. I think it's the best thing to happen to the online 3D MK community. The community itself is amazing. But JTF...my god...that's something a nutcase would do. Close the site because he was called out. Who does that?

First I would like to say I'm highly upset over this, MKC was a great site and community and it's a shame to see this go to waste over mindless fighting. I think JTF should bring the site back up and allow Bobby to mod. Second, Trax am I missing your point? This whole thing has nothing to do with MKC having few rules, The site worked fine with the little rules it had and didn't have power hungry Mods roaming around. MKC didn't need all the rules cause it was a community that respected each other, it was far from anarchy. I think if JTF won't open the site someone needs to step forward and open a new site much like it and keep our community together.

I'm not talking about some crazy totalitarian rules or anything like that. I like the fact that you used the word 'respect'. If there is one rule that is much needed, it'd be that of respecting each other is paramount. But you still need some policies in place with regards to flaming (when respect gets thrown out the window) and someone has to enforce it because that can quickly get out of hand.

Furthermore, if you join a site and they have set rules, you'd have to adhere to them to be part of the community. Every online forum have these rules and they're not so hard to follow. HECK, I don't even know the rules here, but I'm still here.

But I completely understand why everyone loved MKC, but ironically, the lack of rules or control quality is why we are having this conversation.
