B) Sonya has been done to death, they can't take her story anywhere like they have with the other characters. She is cool and fun but she just doesn't have a place any more in the MK world.

Unless they can completley re invent her she is just an old filler. She needs to be taken in a new direction there need to be some twists and major problems and character development not just promotions. Then it would work. If they can do it with other characters why not sonya?

What about Scorpion??? He should be eliminated too but he has way too many fans and they'd be pissed off if he didn't come back.

You cannot choose story as a mean to get rid off a character, then everyone should die because they've always done the same thing: Save the Earth Realm.

They have already started changing her story so she better fits in the MK universe. No longer is she driven hunt down the Black Dragon no matter what, but is now the mortal in charge of Earth's military defenses against other realms invading. In a sense, she is now one of the most important/powerful characters on the side of good.

That's what I'm planning on doing, except if you think about it Rayden still isn't 100% confirmed. There is still a chance he might not make the cut. If he doesn't do you happen have a picture of Boon I could include in the finale of Kidd's Sigy Saga? Remember what happens when Kidd gets angry....

Not quite sure what you mean, she got way more votes in the C catagory than any of the others, and most of the ones who didn' pic C, ended up picking B which means that they like her, they're just bored with her and think she needs a change, that's pretty much how option B went. Very few chose A which was the option for not liking Sonya at all. So yes, according to those people who voted here (And I know this is nowhere near everyone), she is very popular.

Yeah all that is is just a promotion, it's not like the other characters. Even scorpion had some development with finding the REAL KILLER of his family. They need to add some twists or major obstacles.
