C) I think she should definately be in the game. Sonya and kitana are the leading women of MK. They are the protectors of all that is good. I hope sonya is in the game as well with Kitana. Mk isnt the same if these two females arent in it.

P.S. I completely agree with you about Kitana as well, she is another that should ALWAYS be around like Raiden and Sonya.

B. I like Sonya as much as the next person, or at least, I did. When Mortal Kombat 4 came along, it was just the same old shit with Jax and Sonya. Must capture the Black Dragon members X( I also don't like Kira already because the Black Dragon should've died out, but that's for another discussion.

You see, Sonya doesn't even develop character anymore. She'll always just be, well, Sonya. In MK1 it was a nice boost. MK2 was a nice break, and I was overjoyed when Sonya came back in MK3. However, in MK4 and MK:DA, Sonya was just this bland character with still little development. She's just like Cage. Cage use to be one of my favorites too, but when something hasn't even been REMOTELY changed, it gets really boring, really fast. I would like more then anything to see Kano's DA ending at least partially true, cause I think that would be kind of a nice jump/end (I said jump because people like to be revived, apparently) for Sonya's character. The OWA storyline pretty much died when Kenshi was recruited (and I was pissed at that too), so unless she's developed some form of OUSTANDING achievement that's yet to be seen, I don't want to see Sonya again.

im gonna have to say b.. she was and is fucking awesome in mk 1..i never liked her afterwards.. so b is my choice.....

I to would like Sonya's background expanded upon. But as said before, I'll take her anyway I can get her, with or without improvments story wise.

sonya is my favorite character. she is always the first character i play with in all of the mk games (mileena and kitana are my favorites in mk2). but, i'd like to see some depth added to her character. give her a new reason for fighting in mortal kombat. not just 'must kill kano' all the time. change her look. not like all the other girls in mk with all her boobs hanging out or anything like that, but just something different. we know she owns in the military, but i'm sure she has other outfits in her closet. honestly, i wouldn't mind if she sat out for the next two games. this would give the creators time to develop an awesome story for her. and think about the reaction from the fans. just look at how we reacted when we found out mileena and baraka were finally returning! i can see it now.....the cover of EGM and GAMEPRO in big red letters...."finally returning, to own Mortal Kombat 8.....SONYA BLADE(with a kick-ass pic)!!!"

hmmmm. I like Sonya. Shes not my favorite character out of the cast, but I like to see her around in the game. Deffinatly a badass chick, with a nice ass. Lol.

I think that Sonya always should be part of the MK storyline, I don't believe that they need to just totally revamp her story, It has a lot of potential with the whole OIA, but I think it's time for Kano to bow out of MK. I'm very partial to the original MK1 cast, and if anyone of them happen to actually die, without a converging realm loophole, then they should go out with a bang.

My vote is for C, after her appearance in DA I think Sonya would have made a great player in Deception.

At one time, I would have said to get rid of her as a playabe altogether, but now after using her in Deadly Alliance I grew to really like the character.

She in my opinion was one of the top tier characters in Deadly Alliance...

So I wouldn't mind seeing her back.

A I just don't like anything about her, I'd say she is one of the worst female characters in any fighting game.

In MK1 she was just lame. In MK3 I liked her a bit though, I thought she had some good moves and the story hadn't gotten too lame yet.

After that though, same thing over and over, and she seemed to be a worse fighter as well. I would very happy to see Mileena take over as MKs flagship female, even over Kitana.

I vote B. She was a great character with nice moves in DA, but she's just become boring. I think she should sit this game out.
