Jhonny Cage dead? Body laying down in MkD intro

For those who have the MKD intro movie go to 00:27 seconds and you'll see his body laying dead with all the other bodies which seem to be of the Tarkatan forces(the people that look like Baraka. That last bodies leading into Shang Tsung's palace seem to be of characters from MkDa that are dead. I can't really make out who's who though sorry. I'll try to get a picture soon.

Fucking Midway will never keep him dead, they always retroactively change established canon. Like bringing back Liu Kang.

Some characters really do need to die.

Quite probable, since Raiden and Shang both got up to fight the DK after being defeated.

Yeah. I think they all just lost and got either 1. badly injured or 2. knocked unconscious.

I also think Cage is knocked out, I see no sign of blood on his body, so that means he was not cut up from the Tarkatan.

The other characters are prawled out on the stair steps in some pretty uncomfortable positions. Kung Lao I believe got it the worst out of all of them and Sonya is also damaged pretty bad herself.

I see no blood so i'm guessing none of them are dead, however when that explosion went off, I don't know if the blast affect reached them and damaged them. I also think that if they did not wake up in time they would be thrown into prison. That is just my assumption.
