I play with every character of every game, even those I dislike.

As a pssionate gamer - especially with fighting games - I believe in giving every character a fighting chance to be liked by a fan. To exclude one is just wrong. I use a character for a while, then I move on. Just because I've played with Kabal, doesn't mean I like him, or that he's iconic.

boon said that if the game were to be cannon, it would take place right around MK2. Kabal showed up during MK3. I agree that Kabal wont be put in the game before Raiden and Reptile off the "iconic" list. Frankly, Kabal's powers were whack and random (a speed special move and a mind blast?) i'll be happy if he's never in any other MK

they have superman and captain marvel!!!!! why not kabal and flash

yes they are all iconic, but do you really think they will not even have him as an unloackable. i mean it's kabal, come on. you even know you would like to play as him, expecially in next gen

yes, he said "IF" the was to be cannon. IF is the key word. trust me they will add someone from mk3. who would be better than kabal who murdered everyone at the arcade

kabal would be good as a downloadable or an unlockable. if they add kabal in this game and give him some killer moves and his iconic moves with the hook swords, he will be a monster. flash doesn't have nothing but his hands. they need someon like kabal with speed and weapons.

I personally dont think Kabal will be in, or any MK3 characters either. Too bad tho as I'd like sindel in.

i think they are shying away from the weapons in this game to make it "T" rated. if Kabal were to be in the game (i'd bet money on it that he isnt tho) his hookswords would be minuscule. much like subzero's kori blade that only comes out for that special move.

kabal could use the hook swords only after he runs pass you and go into a combo. they are going to add someone from mk3 and the best on to add is kabal. i bet kabal will be an unlockable. i would take kabal over johnny cage any day

As much as I actually like Kabal, I bet you anything no one created during MK3 and up will be in this game. So while you do seem passionate, don't get your hopes up otherwise you'll really hate the game.

well, i'm not getting my hopes up or anything like that, i'm just saying there is a good chance kabal could be involved with this game. superman vs captain marvel. strength vs strength. flash vs kabal. speed vs speed. someone from mk3 will be in.

that's a good list. the top ones are kabal, sindel, and cyrax who might have a chance. but who kicked ass most out of the list? kabal

Actually, Sindel is the only newbie character from MK3 to gain an iconic status.

sindel's long hair wasn't a first in gaming history. kabal was a first with his speed move, hook swords, appearance and finishing move.

Just about everyone in Street Fighter had super speed, and Spinal was highly known for his great speed.

When has Kabal ever came to mind while watching T.V., or talking about something that has nothing to do with video games? Everywhere I go, when there's a woman with really long hair walking down the street, someone says "Wow, she's like Sindel or something."

what, i never heard anyone say sindel. do you know how many women have long hair? true those fighters had speed but they could not run pass you and make you spin around. kabal is an icon. i hear people say all the time when they're thinking about mk, "remember that dude that runs pass you and make you spin and then he takes his mask off and scare the hell out of you" and you say he is not iconic. go eat a chili dog or something and think about what you just said

just cuz he has a specific move make him an icon he has to be better known
