he wasn't in MK4 either. Even when they released MK4: Gold, they had time to think "gee, what good characters can we add to this game that we missed the first time?" and whattaya know, Kabal didnt make the 2nd cut either.

just my opinion here so dont flame up, but to me, Kabal is at the top of the lame character list along with Bo'raiho, Kobra, Dairou, Kira, and Li mei

i admit, you got me stuck right there. i don't even know what else to say. but, it's what the fans know and think. johnny cage is an icon and he's not in every game, lui kang is not in every game. i think retile was in all the games, i think. but good point there about the movie and a few games. lol

thx dude... sorry i hate your favorite character. LOL but ya know, scorpion is the "face of MK" but he wasnt even in the first version of MK3.... despite Ed Boon himself naming Scorpion as his favorite character ever

I want you to try to figure out why they're icons.

Ah, nice list, but as much as i love Noob, i think he might have to be swapped out of there for Reptile, i mean being the first secret character and the fan base he has is pretty iconic imo.

all of those are icons. i see you like noob though. see, you added your fav. i think icons are based on appearance, style, how different they are from the rest and will these be characters people will remember forever. oh, you didn't add Jax or kitana or Kano or baracka. do you think cyrax can be an icon. i mean yellow ninja who blew up thw world and ejected a green net. iconic moves

Well it wasn't my list, lol. I was saying, yes, as much as i do like Noob, he should NOT be in that list as an iconic character because there are other characters who would deserve it more than Noob such as Kitana, Reptile, ect.

Reptile, no.

I, personally, do not see Noob Saibot as an icon, either. The list I made is based on what I've seen throughout the years, not my opinions. Everyone else loves him. "Shadow characers" were not made until he came along. From that, I concluded that he is an icon.

just thought of this. Boon said if we think about all the iconic characters, we will guess 90% of the roster. 90%. that means that all the icons will not be in. they might throw in some people who they will like to make icons or who they think personally will be a good fit for this game. i think that kabal. sindel, possible cyrax will have the best chances of making the game

my reaction was the same. lol. in mk2, i use to play against myself so that i can get enough wins to play as noob saibot. lol. i think you had to like 13 matches or something. I think there will be a total of 16 playable and 4 unlockables. that's why in wc.com, they have 8 slots for each side. wonder who the extra 2 could be. i say Kabal of course lol ( i know i'm going to get bashed for that) and idk know after that but i would love to see sindel or reptile. or nood. but kabal for the most part

I don't think anyone from the Black or Red Dragon clans will be in the game, mainly because the clans dig too deep into MK's storyline. Anything greatly linking to the storyline will most likely not be added to the game.

lol. if they was bring taven in this game, i would be pist the fuck off, not in my cloths, but i will be mad as hell. that would even make me not want to play the game period. taven is lame as hell. please, i pray they don't put him in. damn, i'll take mokap over him. but then again maybe not.

Taven isn't lame, but he sure isn't going to be in this game. He's far too deep in MK's storyline. Having Taven in the game will automaticly make it canon.

Even though I don't like Liu Kang too much, I would much rather have him in any cross-over game involving MK. It just makes sense.
