I don't know. You can't really see her (Li Mei or whoever's) face. She does seem to have Li Mei's body, and a somewhat Li Mei like outfit, but if you looked closely it does seem like she's wearing a veil like the one Mileena does. So is it Li Mei or Mileena's alt. costume?

personally i havn't seen any of the pictures but it sounds like people are in denial about li mei.

i think it'll be cool to see li mei back, shes one of my faves.

as for them both having sai, whos to say that li mei won't have a change of weapon?

Makes me wonder who she is "decieving" as well! She never really had any allies in MK: DA did she?

regarding moose_fates pictures i think thats li mei - you might think this is stupid but its the long ribbon coming out of her knickers that makes me think.

also one of li meis outfits had a ribbon coming out of it.

also MK:DA she had a two piece outfit so it wouldn't be wrong to say she wont look the same in MK:D.

im so sick of these threads, Li Mei is not confirmed!! People have just been saying that thinking they see her in a picutre when it states no where that she is in the game. Also if that is Li Mei in the picture y would they fail to tell us that?? It doesnt make any sense

Okay, to keep this conversation alive, who do YOU guys think this person is? PM me if you don't know which image I'm talking about, it is of Sindel VS. *** and Sindel has a crown on. The unknown female fighter has two-peice clothes on and they are pink and there are ribbons. Her face is not wholly visible.

i definately think that it is of li mei and not kitana

i dont think kitana will return to deception if mileena has come back.

li mei wore ribbons on her costume in MK:DA and she also wore a two piece outfit for her alternate costume

Sorry I’ve taken the links off. Like I said in my original post I found the links on the IGN forums and thought they'd help with our discussion, so in no way was I making out that they were mine.

Also those crazy lads over at IGN are arguing over whether or not Nightwolf is a guy or a girl, so all in all I’d say we’re pretty lucky here if the worst we get is a few arguments about who we think a character in a pic is.

The reason I tend to think it is Li Mei is because of two reasons:

1.) Sindel was never present because she was always "looking after Edenia as Queen" so perhaps this is where Kitana has gone.

2.) Mileena may have killed her and Kitana has joined her love Liu Kang in Heaven Realm (hey, it could happen)

Here's what I think happened to Kitana...Sindel is evil? Then she killed Kitana and is now Queen of Edenia/Outworld again.

I think alot of things are going to change storywise in the world of MK when Deception is released.

Liu Kang isn't in Heaven, his soul is with Shang Tsung.

But, one assumes that Shang Tsung died at hands of Kung Lao (before this it could finish reviving the invincible army of the Dragon King, with which ending of Li Mei did not get to happen).

Don't assume Shang is dead until MK6 is out. :)

the kenshi pic i was not convinced it was li. the new sindel pic does lead me to believe it is li, unfortunately. the clincher was when i blew the pic up 400% and saw the gold clasps/chain connected the bra to her panties as she had in mk5. li really sucked in mk5. kitana, frost and especially nitara were excellent female fighters with great combos. with mileena and sindel in, i dont see why we needed a 3rd girl with black hair and a purple outfit.

Because Mileena is more pink, Sindel has a black costume (100% dominatrix) and Li Mei's costume is the darkest purple than others.

Oh yah btw I made an MK Trailor and in it I put 12 characters that are most likely to be in MK6, so I'll get it posted ASAP.

I was looking at some of the concept art in MK:DA and there's a concept drawing of Kitana with a purplish/pinkish outfit and wearing a veal over her face. This concept drawing looks a lot like the female kombatant in the pic with Sindel kicking the mysterious female.
