And it's extremely unlikely you can pick the same character for multiple roles in Chess Kombat or to put it another way; there has been no screenshots of characters in multiple roles.

That is kenshi with the bandage around his eyes. I don't understand why anyone is even arguing this.

Because Kenshi isn't green.

We have seen Kenshi in chess and Kenshi wears a shirt.

Its his alternate costume.
The orb makes him look green.

The orb is not making him green because Kabal has the same orb and is not green. And there are 3 stills of the costume where the orb isn't present and he's still green.
And if it's Kenshi's alt, why is he green? We'd look at your analysis as more credible if you had any proof to back it up.

I just making fun of how everyone is just assuming that Liu Kang is in the game just from a low res picture that you can't even tell who it is. I think that it is much more likely to be an alternate costume for Kenshi and the green color is just a mistake. That is just my opinion because I don't see why they would want to bring back the token hero of the game when characters like kenshi are original and interesting and worth having in more games.

Well, whether or not you like Liu Kang is irrelevant to this thread. We are looking for evidence of his inclusion in MKD and until proven otherwise, seem to have found it.

Of course, I am most likely wrong and Boon and Company are going to ruin one of the best things to happen to MK since MK2 by bringing worthless and overused characters like Liu Kang and not guys like Smoke that deserve to become real characters.

Yeah I hope they make him unique this time. I really wouldnt mind if Liu was in the game if he was different from before and interesting. The ghost/zombie thing make it seem like the developers think that Liu is a joke and not worth the time to change, like they did with Ermac.

In the new photos, its clear that hes wearing a hood. What everyone sees as a pony tail may just be a design on the back of the gi..

This isn't Kobra... We see well on the photo that the character has no Tshirt or something else... That corresponds not at all Kobra costumes... :/

My guess is that is spirit form but its definitely him

Now it looks more like Kobra to me than Liu Kang... he does seem to have a hood.

one of Kobras costume, he is wearing a Tae Kwon Do lookalike outfit with his shirt on and the other, he wheres a black jacket with a hood on(like Jin in Tekken 4).
besides, its Liu cause the character has his hair down to his shoulder legnth. and its black and Kobra has blonde hair.

First i've thinked he wasn't Liu Kang, but in the last picture, i think he is the real Liu...

it would be kool if it was Liu Kang but to me its like Jarek and it cant be sub zeros alt costume becouse his heair is semi white and bald

For me, the most important factor in determining if that is, in fact, Liu Kang, is the fact that whoever it is, they are obviously green.

Who the hell else would be green?
