MK Armageddon eh? Eh, the name doesn't sound bad, imo and sounds like it'll be apocalyptic in a way....sorta like in MK3...

But still...I have lost pretty much all faith in the MK team and if they do a really good job with this new MK game, I'll be greatly please. If they screw things up really badly, well...*pictures images of a nuclear bomb exploding*

I'm betting this is real as well. Boon and co are probably gonna try to wrap up all the loose ends with the Dragon King story arc as a last hurrah for the MK series on current gen consoles.

Another current gen. MK? Yet all the next gen systems are right there on the horizon. All I care about is if they are listening to the fans about gameplay issues.

MK Armageddon? Wow.........sounds like something big, and devastating! Who knows? It could be the ultimate battle, between Earthrealm, Shao Kahn and the Dragon King!

Or even better, an alliance between Kahn and Onaga! Holy crap! Lets just see what happens!!!

I'd REALLY like to see insane level designs... bordering on both the apocalypse and existence being turned upside down.

Most of all though, I'd like to see great gameplay... counters, reversals, good hit detection, and frame advantages and disadvantages...

That would be a pretty cool game title for MK. Are you serious in that, you want them to stop making these games? Psh. mortal KOmbat is a very awesome franchise. It would really suck to have to be stuck playing Deception and the others. This is a series that needs to continue. As epochal as it would be to have the final awesome end to MK, I would rather have it continue its existence as an ongoing franchise. But after Boon leaves, along with others like John Vogel, etc., that's when we need to call it off. That's when people will look back on the franchise in all its glory.

Midway needs to stop assigning these stupid subtitles to MK games. Shit like "Deadly Alliance", "Deception", and "Armageddon" aren't menacing. They're just silly.

It's a hell of a lot more original than MK, MKII, MK3, MKU3, ext. And whoever said they were trying to be 'menacing'. It deals with the storyline, that's why it's named that way. If someone puts out a movie about a vampire, they can't call it "INSANELY SCARY VAMPIRE: THE MOVIE!" But about MK Armageddon, I highly doubt it'll be the last (I thought MK4 would be the last, afterall), but I DO think that 1) If it will have a huge cast of kombatants and 2) it follows an apocalyptic storyline, then I bet we can see individual character stories expand in an extreme way.

Why is everyone going on and on about it being the last MK? Life would suck if there were no MK!

We've just got imbeciles, that's all. I remember not liking MK: Deception when I first heard it, but it eventually grew on me. Probably will be the same with this. Damn good news to hear, and I look forward to more details.
