First of all KAK lets you change their entire movelist. I just made a combo that pops up and does 20% base damage. I have a feeling they're not going to be too balanced.

top: Jade has an inf that's apparently quite easy. Noob apparnetly has some 70% damage combo's.

Everything else: it's going to take some time. It'll depend on how many glitches and infs are found.

I've found Stryker to be really good, maybe mid-tier, and while I haven't unlocked Taven yet, I get the impression he'll be top-tier.

It's way to early ...WAY to early to be deciding on any tier lists.

What I've gathered is Raiden, Scorpion, Noob are very good. From what I've played, Stryker sucks. Smoke is just different and has other options.

I agree with Konqrr here, it's far too early to be discussing this. I mean, I'm not saying close the thread, just that it's going to take a very long time to come with a good tier list for this game.

I played some last night and I think that Meat and Drahmin have a lot of potential.

Drahmin is relatively unchanged maybe even better now that he has combos.

so far smoke and noob are my best. using smoke i got flawless on the entire arcade play through including blaze. i love how they took the previous bosses and subbosses and use them as the sub boss before blaze thats awesome

I'm really enjoying Kitana in this incarnation. She has a dial a kombo that's 4 hits, 30% damage. I cannot wait until we see Kharacter Guides on the boards here.
It's early, but somehow I feel this engine is much more simplified. I am trying to come up with combos, but it's not as deep as Deception yet. I know there are some insane kombos, just doesn't seem like it yet...

Well from what I can gather checking out the posts from Vers, Dave etc on the PS2 online forum Moloch is quite unstoppable!

Just watch the vid lazy ass.

He has an easy infinite that's just one of his combos over and over. It has no delay pretty much and he is overpowered.

Nobody got a perfect 10 in this game, so that means that their are no God tier, or Prima just overlooked a few things.

Why is Cyrax only Mid-Tier? His bombs and the teleport make him so much better. Whatever. At least he's not low-tier again.

Guys I wouldn't trust that list much...or at all really. I mean we are pretty sure noob has 70%+ combos, jade has a fairly easy infinite(not sure if it's practical for real combat though) and moloch is a flat out monster. Moloch's 1,1, u+3 is an amazing combo. You can repeat it or do the ground pound after it for a 50% damage combo or against larger characters you get a free throw. If you don't want that you can sub in his heal or powerup move. He's easily floating around top teir right now.

The Prima Guide list is complete crap. They don't know shit.

wow....thats some in depth tier ranking, although I disagree with the Kahn as a low tier, anyone rating him as such has no clue how to use him. I use him, and dominate, his moves are easy to repeat, and high damage, and his combos are killer, including the nasty style brancher that does 36% dmg. Shao Kahn is definitely top tier, as is sektor, who also has some sick teleport/combo creations.

The prima guide is great though for the basics in the intro of the guide, and they also give you key codes for UMK3.

But for the tier lists, I completely agree.

They have guys in there that either suck and are actually good, or vice versa.

BTW, Stryker doesn't suck if you turtle properly with him.His weapons blow though if you ask me.Yeah, it's way too early predict at this point.

I havnt even played as moloch yet, but it does seem that the big guys are insane. they cant be thrown by most characters, cant be juggled, and hit for insane amounts. i guess parries might actually lower some of those big guys a notch... i dunno, i doubt anyone can say too much about 60 characters.
