Well I can honestly say The best thing to do MKA is to play online. There is not much fun in anything else. With that said, let me begin.

I like using Sektor in MKA. I mean, isn't his teleportation move fun? Plus all those endless berrage of rockets is really fun to use online. But yeah, I haven't played MK online that much really. All I have racked in is 5 hours, and that was all last year.

I love playing online,I do it on a regular basis.....I consider it fun for the most part,besides all the scrubs...and numerous quitters.But over all its pretty fun.

Trying to hook my PS2 online.

This is the only mode I use. I have always liked Deceptiion and MKA online. It's fun. Don't get mad at quitters, they quit because they were going to lose, so consider it a win.

I have been trying, but I can't get it up yet, I have kinda what I need.

Whenever I go online I face nothing but people that only use Kreate-A-Fighters and totally cheap with them. Nobody's ever in the "No KAF's Allowed" room.

you are not trying very hard or at peak times. I get lots or regular character fights online. KaKs, while cheap, are pretty predictable. If you work at it, you can defeat the best chicken legger out there. And if not, just don't play against Kaks if it makes you feel better.

Everyone uses the first room because it easy to just tap the X button to get into a room. This happened in deception also. All the experts went into beginner.

What is so interesting about playing the arcade mode over and over?

When I decide to buy a Ps3, im sure i will be on MKA online...I however suck at MKA lol.

King_Raiden,do you have the slim model?If so the network adapter is built in to the system.All that is needed is a Ps2,Network adapter,Cat five cable,router (optional),online set-up disk,and a BroadBand connection.

When I go online I just go from room to room checking out the weird-ass screen names people have and challenging people with the worst ones.

I do get booted a lot, especially when im just hanging around in the main room, and it sometimes takes me years to get back in with no problems. F*cking connection.. I dunno what's wrong, actually.

Pick Sonya 90% of the time, am pretty good with her; enough to get by with enough wins.

don't use a router

I've had problems with mine so much I just stop using it too. But I think my router over heated though. Right now if I'm online playing MkA, I'm not on here....which is kinda wierd because, I used to have everything hooked up using my router...

When I'm playing online, I'll get up, go get a drink(Most of the time I'm drinking beer when I'm playing you guys), or go to the bathoom in between matches with the same person. lol Wash my hands and everthing. I know some people wonder why my character isn't moving around alot at the beginning of some of the matches.

1. Can you tell when somebody chooses the wrong character?

I'm always like:

"Yea alright, I know. I see what you did."

So I just beat the guy so we can get back to the "real" matches. No biggie.

2. How long do you commonly play a "worthy" opponent?

I'll go the best outta 20 with someone if we're going back and forth. I'll go the best of 20 if the person is beating me consistantly, but seems to be "teaching" me something. Know what I mean? Same vica versa

I'll go the best outta 10 with a chicken legger before it really starts to get on my nerves. I always figured that if I made my character "round enough", I could effectively deal with any character.....at least eventually.
Same with those guys who seem to have "super fast" characters. Best of 10

I use a router cuz my family needs to use the internet while I'm online. If I didn't have a router either my family would have to wait till I'm done playing online or I'd have to wait till they're done using the internet.....and we don't want to go through that shit.

For you guys having trouble against KAKs. Pick Blaze or Moloch against them. They destroy any KAK easily if you use them right.

Nuh uh.....I quite normally destroy all the boss characters. If you listen close enough, you can almost here me l-o-l as you pick any one of them. Oh man, I look forward to the boss characters usually....I mean, of course there's always the one or two people who are efficient with them but ...

I only use my Kak(I hate the way the regular roster plays). I'm not a "cheap" player either but...y'know, I almost never loose verses a boss character.

When are you commonly online?

I'm usually on.....when I am on, really late at night. Like 12am - 12pm. With a tendency to pop up between 6pm-12am(cst). Rare no matter though. Work and all that....

yeah bosses can be owned if you know how to fight. Usually, the strategy against a boss is to be very aggressive and vary low, mid, and high attacks.

85% of the people I've played online with in general have cheated massively during the game, and therefore, has sucked all the fun of playing online out from me. Not this game, mind you. Any game.

I'd just rather make characters in this game personally.

I dislike chicken leggers, you'd get really pissed but you know its always okay if you KaK, but whats really disliked is when ppl just sit on one character and wait for you to choose then they go doot doot doot and pick Kak...or sometimes you or I could quit when we play chase the other box =)

What the hell is with the people that don't like to just fight?

I mean damn, I understand an "unfair match" but hell, what's with the d00ds who can't get along when they loose?

I like to go back and forth with a person, or loose to a person consistently, or just own the hell out of a person as long as they are willing to play longer....

I don't et all the sour-ness about loosinf online...To me it's still no big deal either way....

I will make it simple for you Pred.

MKA now has nothing but Pullers,Scrubs,Boosters,Inf users,Etc. I played MKA since Day 1 and it is because of these people that i decided it wasnt worth my time anymore.

I always played to 10 and i never cried about anything. I just "Played to Win". So of course i was called names and told all the time that i wasnt good. The funny thing is the people who said these things could not beat me in a series if there life depended on it.

I have pretty much beaten all of the elite players in a series of 10 except for 2. In the beginning MKA was a very fun game. Nobody cared about rank and only the good players were always on. This lasted not even 2 months. Unfortunately,i continued to play (Even after all the elites were gone) just to see if it really was as dead as i was told it was. Well i found myself playing MKO members only. The problem was,it just wasnt enough competition for me whatsoever.

I havent lost a series in atleast 6 months to anyone. Now its like what is the point of going back? I need competition and it is not there. I sign on and there all "Rank Whores". If they stepped to me i would beat them 10-0 cause all they do is fight weak people all day. I fought the best and lost and lost and lost lost till i decided i didnt want to lose anymore.

Now that i did that,EVERYBODY online is easy for me to beat. Honestly its sad. There were maybe a top 20 online that were worth a damn. I just hope MK8 will have more than just 20 atleast 100 of the best,then it will last much longer.

We shall see..

This is severely overstating the case. I can find good, legit matches every day on MKA. Perhaps your standards are too high.
